We also can't talk about bad adaptations without bringing up Classroom of the Elite and it's flaws of skipping LN content, changing of dialogue and motivations of characters, and removing inner monologues that actually humanizes Ayanokoji and instead chose to make him super edgy and robotic.
Same, even tho I'm not a manga reader of tokyo ghoul, I've at least seen giguk make a vid abt how massively right the manga readers were and how much the anime flopped Ig the reason y it wasnt here was cause the openning song carried the entire anime
21:30 S3 is the best season of Seven deadly sin story wise despite having bad animation. Tho S4/Final season has the worst animation . So if you react on seven deadly sin s1 and s2 but ignore s3 then its really gonna be tragic. S3 "specially" is the reason why I conclude SDS having one of the best storytelling I have ever seen or read.
Man, I was a big seven deadly sins fan back in middle school. Those last few seasons were devastating to witness, the fandom did stay for the most part to see the conclusion in the manga but even that ended up dissapointing. The first few seasons are actually good tho, I would watch your reactions to it for the nostalgia. It's been long enough that it doesn't hurt anymore lol
Boruto also is a adaptations of naruto legacy and even some scenes have bad animation and writing they even ruined naruto character as a father and ruined the day that naruto become hokage something that naruto always dreamed about correct me if im wrong
Peach boy riverside had so much potential but they literally destroyed it bc they shuffled the episodes, it still made some sense but it was so dumb as a decision. It took time for me to figure out the right order. Also its an unfinished story anime with only 12 eps...
Horror has always been extremely hard to translate from manga to anime. Most of the results you'll get if you search for them are action shows with gorey elements (Tokyo Ghoul, Attack on Titan and Chainsaw Man have all popped up when I've searched for recommendations). Others are thriller shows, though they don't really count in my opinion. Most of the shows that people call horror are either just overly gorey or needlessly edgy unfortunately. People used to reccomend Elfen lied, but it seems public opinion has changed on that one. Haven't seen it, but from what I've heard I'm not very interested. The only horror anime I've watched that I've enjoyed fully is the old Higurashi. Haven't watched the new one, though it seems like it tries to be both a retelling and continuation at the same time? So I wouldn't watch that first to get into the series but to each their own. The old show can look wonky or wierd sometimes, especially with the famous "higurashi faces", but the story holds up. Another Anime I like that comes up sometimes in these conversations is Shiki. It's technically a thriller/mystery but it's unnerving enough that I'd reccomend it to horror fans anyway, although the first half is very much a slow burn. The characters can be a bit dry at times, but the story more than compensates in my mind. It's good and I just want more people to watch it. So yes, the fact that Junji Ito's work is horror absolutely has something to do with it, especially since much of the horror comes from the sheer detail he pours into the pages. Recreating that is incredibly difficult, time consuming and expensive. Not to mention the fact that many think that colour takes *away* from the detail and horror in his works. The lack of colour in the anime was great, but it still had a lot of hurdles to get over.
I made a comment on that video and just wanted to say it again. Man does the red eyed blonde girl from peachboy riverside look like the main character from cross ange for some reason. "shout out to the masterpiece of an underrated story".
So agreed and i started with original got confused, changed where im watching and some sites put them in order luckly but its unfinished anyway with only 12 eps. If only it had 24 eps and right order.
The manga for 7 deadly sins is pretty crap to. The story started ok, but the last half of the manga and especially the last couple of arcs are absolutely garbage.

I'd argue throw in Toaru in there more specifically Index. It's actually crazy how many LN adaptions essentially never live up to it.
@@Brandon-tm86 is fr amazing to be able to flawlessly adapt a ln series
So many likes..Chance to show cawcaw that there are many classroom of the elite light novel fans and thus he may continue it?!
Not mention of Tokyo Ghoul in the video is criminal

22:59 the director wanted a Baccano-wannabe so bad he ended up destroying a good anime 😭
Not the peachboy riverside🗿🗿🗿

From what i know promised Neverland changes were because people didn't like the manga ending
the only good thing about the studio Deen Fate anime was the soundtrack

my favorite is oniisama rimuru and blue lock, all of them are in 8bit hand , i'm traumatized
This happened to one of my favorite manga/LN, isekai cheat skill 😠
Peach boy Riverside was such a tragedy, it could have been way better reaching Shangri la frontier levels of popular at least
So agreed and i started with original got confused, changed where im watching and some sites put them in order luckly but its unfinished anyway with only 12 eps. If only it had 24 eps and right order.
PEACH BOY RIVERSIDE was so enjoyable
Peach boy riverside had potential and the animation was good but they ruined it.
No one mentioning Tokyo ghoul huh
pupa is a worse adaptation than that lol.
23:48 I mean, it works on monogatari
The original source material needs to be written that way in the first place
It's less like Monogatari and more like Haruhi
