My home is not perfect by any means and some people might come to my house and think it's too sparse or too cluttered or they don't like the same things I like but I love everything in my house and when I look around it makes me so happy and that's what home is all about. I have a small idea about your ladder, because its metal you could cut some off the top just so it sits below the picture and not right up against them.
