But why did I suddenly cry even harder when Tinn's dad said "we should be his peace of mind when he comes home" than when I watched it the first time? That sentence hits too close to home. I never get to hear that from my parents 😭😭😭
I was so worried that Tinn's mom is gonna be against their relationship, so I was relieved to see that it wasn't even the main problem in this episode. To see her worried about her son's future and all is actually really touching
since camp rock 2, I learned not to get my hopes up when it comes to main characters winning a talent show lol. Thanks for that trauma disney channel bc I knew chinzilla wouldn't win hot wave.

If they won the writers were planning to X Gun's mum XD that was the initial script which wouldve been more traumatic
What I will always love about this show is that the friend group personalities have been consistent they writers didn't throw a wrench in the story and gave the character a 180 degree shift in personality. The band has always had issues and argue albeit this is the worst they have been on the show but after all that they still care about one another and see their own insecurities about losing and apologize for what they said. It's the consistency for me. I always felt Tinn mother didn't have an issue with him liking Gun it was more that she worried for him and that this is a side of him that she wasn't aware of cause she said it after the recital when he was young he has consistently deferred to her about certain decisions and now he has Gun.

they're building up to this kiss SO MUCH that if we dont get one in the finale i might riot
I just wanted to say thank you for noticing the fact that they are teenagers and they released their emotions maybe not in the best way, but what matters is that they communicated afterwards and forgave each other. Teenagers react on impulse and that’s what they all did (mostly Win) but that’s okay. Especially they were all blaming themselves, and in order to protect themselves from their unwanted negative thoughts, they blamed each other. This goes to show that they are human and nobody is perfect, they will learn from this.
In that moment, they let them not winning Hot Wave define their self worth but they have each other. Their friendship is more important and I loved that they showcased it in this episode, even tho it had me sobbing 😭❤️.
I am really going to miss this show so much, I agree, this series has made me feel so much emotions that I haven’t felt in a long time. It hurts to say goodbye 💔 but they will forever will be in my heart.
I’m not gonna lie I’m a bit nervous about their first kiss because there’s been so much build up that I’m worried it’ll fall flat. Like their chemistry is so great that if the kiss is awkward I feel like it’ll mess with the characterization they’ve built up and take me out of their love (y’all know the kind of bl kisses I’m talking about--the ones where one or both of them look like they’re being forced and it’s uncomfortable and takes you out of the scene). Tbh I don’t even need a kiss from them but with the build up it won’t make sense not to have one in the finale it’s been talked about so much
But based on just fourth and Gemini in real life and especially fourth with his love of skinship I’m hopeful that if there is any awkwardness it would translate as high school boyfriends having their first kiss more than awkward because they don’t want to kiss another guy lol
I'm so impressed with this cast too. Everyone nailed their parts. Usually I don't care about the side characters but here I care about everyone!

I think I’m the only one who thinks after losing HotWave, the story is going down-hill. How could they make them lose the HotWave?! The torment, sadness to this extent doesn’t fit the vibe of this series at all. To me, this series was like a fairytale till now and suddenly the writer decided to throw a real-life drama on my face! I feel cheated and wronged.
