I didn't glue the grass, just spread the chopped grass. I have glued popsicle sticks to the edge of the cardboard to keep the grass from sliding

Instead of egg cartons , what we can use

You can use ordinary cardboard pieces, put white glue on it and cover the surface with tissue, you will get the same texture.
