this film tells us that u do not need a huge budget to be a top notch film.U just need talents,passion and hardwork.Hollywood focuses too much on things like big car chase,demolitions and explosions but this is just solely fighting,but that's what it is amazing because it allows audience to focus on how good the choreography is.Thumbs up Raid :) Iko is always the best

@@heejoonshin4223 I dont disagree with you but if that's being said, everything can be said as to be of hard work and talent. What I'm saying here is you dont need big budget money to do great things for audience to enjoy! Hollywood always tends to think of alot of gimmicks and glamour to make audience fascinated which I'm telling you that's not needed and not always the case. Cheers

With less money, more effort in creating a good film. Thats whats wrong with movies today. This film was great.
That truck scene came out brilliantly if it was done in one take!
D. Ario Sagantoro, a former kid actor from TV series called ACI/Aku Cinta Indonesia (I Love Indonesia). He played Ito, a junior high school student. The other character is Amir (a boy played by Agyl Syahrial) and Cici (a girl played by Diah Ekawati Utomo).
ACI playing during 1984-1985 on TVRI/Televisi Republik Indonesia, the only tv station on that era in Indonesia.
If some one asking for real action movie...this is tha real one
You can see how low the budget for the movie is but the quality of the crew is tremendeus
Semoga the raid ini "merangsang" sineas indo hingga klimaks, dan akhirnya sinema2 indonesia mulai berorientasi ke mutu, budaya sendiri, dan orisinilitas.
layak disandingkan di hollywood. Menurut gw lebih enjoyable dibanding ongbak, yip-man etc. full action. Jadi yang kecewa dengan phase yang lama dan ngebosenin dari "merantau", ga akan kecewa liat ini, dijamin.

Klo ga salah (pernah liat di movie making film apaa gitu), semua di-custom di jaket/baju si aktornya. Jadi di dalem bajunya dah ada kantong cairan mirip darah yg jg dipasangin semacam (mungkin) petasan (hihihi), atau peledak mini yg diledakinnya pake remote control, peledak2nya sih kecil yg penting bs ngelubangin baju (efek kayak ketembak/ditembak) sama muncratin darah, kalo mau efek yg lebih lebay yaa paling ditambah efek CG komputer lah, lebih banyak darah kemane-mane..

Best film of 2012, and I watch a LOT of movies. Good characters that I cared about, amazing action that left my jaw on the floor, and brilliantly shot. Cant wait for the sequel, hope they keep it relatively low budget with the same gritty brutal feel of the first movie.
I live in Houston and I watched this movie already yayyy!!! It was COOL!!!! I like the story line better than merantau...
Hahahaa!! Konsekuensi low budget movie... jadi harus ndorong truk mogok,,!! Kebayang kalo Hollywood tahu penderitaan kru behind the scene, pasti mereka geleng2... Di tengah2 segala kesulitan, tetap semangat dengan apapun yang ada!!!

film terkeren terhebat action tersuper sepanjang sejarah film yag pernah ada di dunia. jempol bgt buat produser, sutradara dan semua tim. indonesia dh bner2 bangga.
Gila... gue baru nonton ni film tadi siang..SERIUS gue cuma bisa napas di 5 menit pertama! sisanya bikin gue keabisan napas! buat yang demen drama action, jangan terlalu ngarep. soalnya ini MURNI action, bro! gun fighting nya lumayan banyak, tapi fist fightingnya jauhh lebih banyak dan ini adalah kelebihan dari The Raid.
