Amazing T. They all look great, but I’m all about weight. The daddy wins my heart. Both methods worked out pretty good. the one where you packed the sand around the mold, the bigger the mold, the heavier the piece. Keep up the great pours and keep the great videos coming. 👍
I've seen great results with all methods. Just a matter of practice imho. Wow indeed! Those came out great. It's crazy how fast you've progressed with this. It's pretty obvious you're motivated and doing your research. Totally dig the new toning method. Great job, T!
I think the one that you screened the sand to make it finer, came out the best. But you could do that with the other style of pours as well. Just use the fine sand at the top before you press the mold in. Imo Beautiful art work!!
Congrats on 10,000 SUBS! Well earned and deserved. Love watching your pouring journey, especially searching for the best methods. Looks like they came out great! Good news is, no milk spots haha. Left looks like it has a little more detail.
Nice work T, you are really doing well learning to pour silver. I found that if you tap the pour in the sand cast you can make some nice pour lines also if you try copper sometime be sure to use a separate crucible or they will cross contaminate. Copper has to get a little hotter or maybe just takes longer but it is fun to make one out of each metal. Keep having a great time.
Just tried my first couple of sandcasting pours, have only tried with aluminium and zinc at the minute. These came out great, love the way they seemed t come out easier than my ones where the sand seems to collapse a little each time so Far : ) These look awesome.
@@TtheSilverStacker Evey piece Your pour isn't supposed to be perfect. That's what makes them perfectly unique. I'd have a hard time giving them up myself especially making them yourself. Keep it up !
Really like the quality of your experiment! I think you get _much_ better detail on the complex shapes that way. Stuff with straight edges or smooth surfaces work when pressing into the sand, but not so well with textured 3d's

Thanks Sam! I’m just beginning to dabble on the whole “selling” stuff. I have a piece on eBay and one on my community page.

New sub, stacker and pourer... Can you link me to the skull for sale (mould) thanks 🙏
Hi! Welcome! That wasn't made from a normal mould. I kinda used something I found on eBay for that. Best wishes on your stacking and pouring journey!
Right one looks better, something about the lower lip. After you toned them and took them outside I don't see anything though.
Thanks!!
