Bismillāhirrahmānirrahīm
قُلْ يَا عَظِيْم
قُلْ يَاعَظِيمْ أَنْتَ الْعَظِيم # قَدْ هَمَّنَا هَمٌّ عَظِيْم
Sebutlah dengan: Asma Allah: Ya ‘Azhim, Engkau adalah yang Maha Agung # Sungguh kami mengalami kesedihan yang besar
وَكُلُّ شَيْئٍ هَمَّنَا# يَهُوْنُ بِاسْمِكَ يَا عَظِيمْ
Segala hal membuat kami sedih # akan menjadi ringan dengan menyebut nama-Mu wahai yang Maha Agung
أَنْتَ الْقَدِيمُ فِي الْأَزَل# أَنْتَ اللَّطِيْفُ لَمْ تَزَلْ
Engkau adalah yang Maha Dahulu (tidak berawal) dalam keabadian # Engkau adalah yang Maha Halus yang tak akan hilang
عَنَّا أَزِلْ مَا قَدْ نَزَلْ# مِنْ فَادِحِ اْلخَطْبِ الشَّدِيْد
Hilangkanlah sesuatu yang menimpa kami # seperti bencana yang berat
حَيٌّ قَدِيْمٌ وَاجِدٌ # بَاقِى غَنِيٌّ مَاجِدٌ
(Engkau adalah) yang Maha Hidup, yang Maha Dahulu, yang Maha menciptakan# Yang Maha Kekal, Yang Maha Kaya, Yang maha Dermawan
عَدْلٌ إِلَهٌ وَاحِدٌ # بَرٌّ رَؤُفٌ بِالْعَبِيْد
Yang Maha Adil, Tuhan Yang Maha Esa, Yang Maha memberi kebaikan, Yang kasih saying kepada semua hamba
وَلِلنَّبِي صَلِّ يَا سَلَام # مِنَّا صَلَاةٌ مَعْ سَلَام
Untuk Sang Nabi SAW., kirimkan shalawat dan salam dari kami, wahai Engkau yang Maha Sejahtera
يَوْمَ الْجَزَاء امْنَحْنَا سَلَام # مِمَّا نَخَافُ يَا مَجِيْد
Pada hari pembalasan, berilah kami keselamatan # dari sesuatu yang kami takutkan, wahai Engkau yang Maha Baik
وَاْلآلِ وَالصَّحْبِ اْلأسُودْ # سَادُوا بِهِ بِيْضًا وَسُودْ
Serta para keluarga Nabi SAW. dan para sahabatnya yang pemberani bagaikan singa# Mereka membimbing kepada orang yang berkulit putih dan yang berkulit hitam
(Kirim juga shalawat dan salam) kepada: Keluarga dan Sahabat Nabi SAW, yang seberani singa, Karena mereka telah membimbing orang berkulit putih dan yang berkulit hitam, dengan berkat Rasulullah SAW,

Allama Ibn Qayyim al Jawziyyah, the best and most reknowned student of Shaikh ul-Islam Ibn Taymiyya, writes, on page 498 of "Madarij as-Salikin
"Listening to a good voice celebrating the birthday of the Prophet (s) or celebrating any of the holy days in our history gives peace to the heart, and gives the listener light from the Prophet (s) to his heart, and he will drink more from the Muhammadan spring (`ayn al-Muhammadiyya)."
