@@joecerda630 you need about a 1/2 hole to mount it. I don’t have the exact specks. The nut is between 3/4 and 1-1/18”. They come with a small wrench, but they’re just a cheap stamped wrench and can round off. If you have questions you can always call and ask. You can also tighten it by hand too. Which is basically what I did for both this one and my Big 5 Overland 43” antenna.
@@youngjet63 The antenna works great, but I switched to the 43” Big Five Overland Antenna on my New Build. They’re both great companies. The B5O does come with some extras like a mounting brackets and allows you to switch out whip lengths. I don’t think midland does this. Neither one has a connector at the antenna base, which is a pain if you run the cable through the grill like I did.

So I was told you shouldn’t coil your Coax like I did, you should loosely do a figure eight as coiling adds inductance. Thanks for the advice!
