Luckily, wildcat skiers are all masochists on some level. ...this is less of a joke than you think considering how bad it can get there. but for real though, not a fan of getting neglected by Epic.
Great information on the ski resorts. However, I don't think you should be promoting Tux as an "honorable mention" ski resort. Could result in skiers going up who may lack the skill, or the knowledge to venture into a zone like that. At a minimum someone should have AIARE I level training and basic mountaineering skills to climb up into the bowl and ski/ride down. Obviously there are many who go up without that, and I've unfortunately witnessed someone making bad decisions in Gulf Of Slides tumbling 1,000' down main gully
Thank you for pointing that out. I completely agree that Tux demands advanced skills and proper training, including AIARE I and mountaineering knowledge. Safety in areas like this is critical, and I appreciate your input on emphasizing that message.
Cannon isn’t really near Mount Washington hotel, it’s about 30 minutes north of Loon. I haven’t done Bretton Woods but Loon and Cannon are both amazing ski areas.
I agree with all of these, however, RAGGED MOUNTAIN needs some love!!!
Yes, Ragged is a great mountain!!
Wildcat, Attitash, Cranmore, and Black are a good little grouping. I love Wildcat, especially when Epic isn’t abusing it like a bad step child.
Wildcat is a great mountain. Nice views of Mount Washington up at the top.

It's 20 min from the Mount Washington Hotel. Bretton Woods is solid if you like glades.
Tucks is not a resort, Cannon is also not a resort
