The 72-10 '96 Bulls went up 3-0 in the Finals to the Sonics. They proceeded to lose the next 2 before winning in 6, no one thinks any less of that all-time team. This Celtics team has played like champions all year, and they will rightfully take their crowns on 6/17.
god i would love to be able to watch Celtics games like that with journalists like these and point things out in real time to hear their responses. so sick of people telling me things like what i'm hearing in this video...they got killed BECAUSE THEY DIDN'T TRY HARD and that started with Tatum! for god's sake, just watch the game and focus on Tatum (and Brown in this game). look at how rarely he's in an athletic stance, how often he's walking and not moving, how often he's not boxing out or at least putting a hand on a defender before going up for a rebound, how often he's not helping not authoritatively finding an oponent to guard during a fast break. it was freaking obvious they didn't try hard and it started with Taum then Brown joined in, and on top of that, the other guys you count on when those two can't get out of their own heads were terrible like Jrue.
Luka better than Bird????? Are you out of your mind????? Derrick White can rebound, Tatum can rebound, Brown can rebound, Horford can rebound Holiday and Hauser can rebound so not having Porzingis isn't an excuse tho having him would've improved our chances of getting more rebounds, a sweep was asking too much but choosing to play their worst game of the year in The Finals is just inexcusable!!!!!! And I agree with Jeff about Porzingis making a difference, if he had played he would've provided defense and offense and given them the spark they needed to win
I'm starting to feel like Luka might be the most overrated player in the NBA. He wins one finals game and now he is better than Bird supposedly? He is a really good offensive player when he has the ball. Off ball, he isn't good and he is terrible defensively.
mazzulla math equations analytics are a gimmick. mavs despite their flaws are good enough to expose the c's. we aren't getting banner 18 fellas. it isn't just c's effort. kyrie and Luka have figured out c's defense. just a little more ball pressure against c's is enough to break their rhythm with or without porzingas. these c's gonna break nba history in bad way, be the first to lose 7 game series after going up 3 0
