- What is going on with people putting on relocation get together events to get people to pay in order for sales people from all kinds of different businesses to get them cornered and gringo price them as a tag team tactic? This seems positively insane to me. What would make anyone decide that attending something like this was a good idea? What will someone get out of it?

I came to Nicaragua with Interval International and bought a great property in 2004 and still love it. Met with mayors, expats, attorneys and real estate agents. This after travel with them to great retirement destinations in Ecudor, Ireland and Portugal. Never felt pressured and really appreciated the networks these contact ignited.

Hand holding I get. And a professional who doesn't sell things but is paid just to do that, I totally get the value there. These retreats aren't real hand holding, though, they're sales pitches.
Relocation Retreat = 1000% chance of them getting you into a house purchase sight unseen. lol.

There's a travel agency located in CR that is now promoting a relocation and retreat conference. I was following him for a while but there was infighting that was posted on TH-cam that put me off.
I thought the same thing! And, it was about the time I discovered this channel and increased my interest in Nicaragua over CR.

Sadly, no. I even have my own team in Argentina. That's where my manager and thumbnail maker are. So I get some info from there, but I don't know of a channel.
