The base cards aren't great looking but the silvers and other paralells look really good.
I love that they cut out all the fluff. I really didn't enjoy pulling the National Pride/NBA Debut stuff. And i prefer smaller sets anyway.
We differ on Jam Masters! I love the big heads!
I liked the National Prides, but I was not a fan of the NBA Debuts

I just opened a hobby box today actually. But I agree with you, I like the design of the base, hexagons look lovely. And I’d take some McClung, Been watching him since he was in high school. Glad he made the set.

I have a theory that they price it high at the beginning because the best products get put out first regardless if its FOTL. I bought a chronicles blaster thats 29$ i know for a fact that will go down to 22$ but i had an AMAZING box 3/3 times…
I think boxes are still so expensive because of the boom of 2020/2021, but also inflation is way up. I think now that boxes are starting to collect dust in stores, we should see prices come down (or at least see boxes on sale regularly).
What blaster.are $20? Any NBA I found some select baseball for $17 and then 3 of the pro set NFL autos the box has a Kenny PRICKett auto lol misspelled on the box can't find a card anywhere to see if the cards on the front were just made on a computer or if they're the actual photos of the cards

Thunder road green look like the Gatorade logos from back in the day. I bought a bunch of mosaic last year and I promised myself never again. I would rather save up for a hobby box then just get greens and the occasional silver or mosaic silver
