Not gonna lie I have been rewatching from this time stamp weekly since you commented and I have come to the conclusion that its the same noise I make when I get a 404 error in a web browser.
I really appreciate that you had both cameras running at the same time. I left my Logitech and need a temp camera to tide me over until I get it back. This was very helpful!
LUTs and filters can make a big difference, but it won't fix how colours get flushed out in the background and you might end up with a Very Vivid looking subject against a background that looks as though it's from another world.
Going to be recording with a lower/Mid range phone from 2019 the bigger issue is getting your phone to connect reliably to OBS. Unfortunately EPOC cam is the only reliable solution I have tested and thats only been release on iphone.(android version may be released at a later date). But that video is in the pipeline.
Lighting. I use a total of 2-3 lights depending on the time of day. A bad camera with good lighting looks better than a great camera with bad lighting.
Sometimes it is. If your scene is well lit the camera doesn't have to try increase exposure and in cases where you have the tiny sensor on a webcam that leads to better frame rates aswell
Howzit boet. I just saw the GW900 and was wondering myself how it works. You haven't gotten your hands on one yet? Thanks for the review - appreciated!
Not if your streaming. When you have your camera downsized on your stream the actual resolution of the image your viewer see it probably less that 480p. But if I manage to do another Webcam review I'll be sure to check the lower res results as well.
Since doing this video and using it a little more I have realized it is inconsistent with grain and exposure sometimes it looks better in the same lighting, sometimes it looks worse and all I did was reboot my PC.
@@HappysTech Oh thanks for that, Im looking for a review about this hitman and luminous c30 by fantech, I guess every review has a comment about the grain of the hitman. If you could only try the luminous c30 and see it for yourself it would be great comparing this budget streaming webcam. Thanks a lot man
The Redragon washes out the green when it focuses on my face, that makes the background colours less consistent and harder to properly configure your chromakey
To rehash my conclusion if you are going to use a physical green screen it's not the camera you should be using. If you don't use a physical green screen or you use then it's a great choice.
There could be a few reasons, the most common is lighting. I recorded this video with 2 different lights on my face at all time, if I turned them off both Webcams looked terrible.
6:01 what's that

that's the sound turtle makes while mating lmao
damn he knows my secret
I appreciate this. Let me just share this to my homeys since this deserves more views.
Thank you, Im glad It was appreciated, sharing a video is always the best was to support a small creator
It would be nice to see a review on the gw900 as it doesn't seem to have been released in the US yet.
Unfortunately it's a little difficult for me to get my hands on one but I am looking into it.
@@HappysTech oh I definitely understand.
Looks like the automatic white balance is a disaster on the Red Dragon. It probably needs to be turned off. I bought a Logitech c922.
Great review! Loved the green screen test too
Thank you, much appreciated
Great review. All the information needed in one ne video.
Thanks this was one of my best videos
Please make a video on how to setup the GW800 on OBS sir!
Can u pls make the same type green screen video with Red dragon gw900 apex ? I badly want to know.
Unfortunately I have not been able to get a hold of a GW900, however it is something I am keeping an eye out for.
Thank you I am going to buy redragon
Its a pleasure, Im happy You found my video helpful
Great review! Thanks for this
Thanks, I am glad my it was helpful
im buying reddragon after watching your review thanks a lot for saving my money :D
Its a pleasure I'm glad I could help, thats the point of making this video.
can you try adding filters to the redragon
LUTs and filters can make a big difference, but it won't fix how colours get flushed out in the background and you might end up with a Very Vivid looking subject against a background that looks as though it's from another world.
Hi, whats the autofocus like on the reddragon?
Its ok. Is subtle enough that you dont really notice it, but it gets the job done.
Nice vid any chance you'd do a comparison to a cell phone

I've made up my mind thank you! 🇿🇦
I am happy the video was of help
5:16 redragon making you look like a tomato
Don't use a green screen
how do you make it so smooth dude??? the quality is good :)
Lighting.
I use a total of 2-3 lights depending on the time of day.

@@HappysTech ty for the reply! And is the lighting still the cause of choppy fps? Yours looks like a 60 fps
Unfortunately not
If I ever do I shall put a card in this video.
No 60fps on the red dragon, yet the c922 can only do it in 720p which is pointless for many people. Shoulda tested low light level quality too!
Not if your streaming. When you have your camera downsized on your stream the actual resolution of the image your viewer see it probably less that 480p. But if I manage to do another Webcam review I'll be sure to check the lower res results as well.
this vid has done wonders for me thank you sm!!!
I'm glad it was useful, I'm always happy to see one of my videos bringing Value so someone
red dragon gw 800 gw 900 which one do you recommend ?
On a tight Budget a GW800. Otherwise get the GW900
@@HappysTech thanks a lot
Thanks for the review. I am looking into buying the C922 for R1999. I'm also from South Africa.
It's a pleasure. I hope you found the video useful.
redragon hitman has a lot of grains, but it is forgiven
Since doing this video and using it a little more I have realized it is inconsistent with grain and exposure sometimes it looks better in the same lighting, sometimes it looks worse and all I did was reboot my PC.

I haven't seen a Fantech one in South Africa Before but It's something I will keep an eye out for.
@@HappysTech thank you sir
Does the Redragon stream at 1080p?
Yep, 1080p at 30 fps
@@HappysTech thanks
With the correct lighting... Im liking the Redragon
Ok im editing this comment because I sent it in the beginning of the video🤣 I take it back. Logitech
@@SiasTheGreat as a plain camera with consistent lighting the red dragon is fine, I prefer the Logitech but redragon is still a decent choice
this is very helpful
Thanks I am glad it was
Wouldn't it have been easy to adjust the green screen on Redragon? You probably had settings on for the C922.
The Redragon washes out the green when it focuses on my face, that makes the background colours less consistent and harder to properly configure your chromakey
¿Green screen work on reddragon or not???
To rehash my conclusion if you are going to use a physical green screen it's not the camera you should be using.

u deserve the sub
Thanks man, lots of work go into my videos.
Can you review gw900 Vs c922
If I get my hands on one I shall
My country literally have a 50 US dollar difference, gw800 being the cheaper counterpart
I started noticing that Redragon Prices Fluctuate a lot more in different countries than companies like logitech.
Why does mine look so crappy?
There could be a few reasons, the most common is lighting. I recorded this video with 2 different lights on my face at all time, if I turned them off both Webcams looked terrible.
