You mention that your running out of space and I think we can all relate to that! What I do now is have a lot fewer pieces on display at any given time and then I rotate them out on a regular basis. That way you have something new to look at at any given time and dont get bored with what you have.
Shouldn't have sold that C3PO bust dude....I have it and it might just be my favourite piece!
I don't regret it, but I do miss the piece. But tough decisions are required in this hobby.

Are you just using the standard Besta shelves inside of the frames? Its the one thing you dont break down on your written setup on your website.
Very nice collection and tutorial! I personally collect Lord of the Rings Statues and busts from Weta. I have a large glass display case with a mirrored back. I went to try and buy another one years later but they no longer make them. I believe they were made in Italy. Does anyone make display cases for our collection with a mirrored back? So much better, you can view the back of the pieces as well as the front.
I don't know of anyone who makes cases like that. But I agree that it does looks pretty great. :)

Great! Thank you. Right now, I dont have enough statues to get some Besta with those doors, as I just started collecting. But maybe in afew months or so, I'll be getting this kind of setup. (I just hope IKEA does not discontinue some part of it again :D)

+Mark Buchs Thanks a lot, Mark. Yea, there were for sure. Deadpool PF first and foremost. Then Cheetah PF. I also like the new Predator Maquette. And the Hulk vs Wolverine Maquette. Sideshow really impressed me.
We are in the same boat as far as the new Deadpool PF and I like the new Predator bust as well. Always enjoy seeing your collection!

Hiya, I read your Besta setup guide, I'm going to give it a shot but I'm really sad that there are no longer any of the doors that you have, I might have to get Glassvik which I really don't want because of the big border, do you know if there are any other options?

Do you know if glassvik would block out a large portion of, for example, the PF Jason Voorhees?

Hi there! I've seen it done before. C-3PO is smaller, though. Boba will be very tight, and will be at a very specific angle. But I've seen photos of it before. So it's doable.

I actually don't know. Back whene I got these, the shelves were included. They are sold separately today, but I don't know what they are called.
It sucks that you have to let some great pieces go by lack of display room. I was bummed out when I saw Malgus wasn't there anymore :( Btw the music you use always reminds me of Ex Machina haha.
Yea, man. It is unfortunate. But it forces me to be ever critical of what I get, and I don't buy more than I can handle. Hehe, I love the soundtrack of Ex Machina. Thanks! ;)
Hi random question but do you find a difference between black vs white background for display cases? Thanks! Aweseome setup.
Hi there. It really comes down to some basic things. It needs to fit with the rest of the room. Dark will create a more cozy feel whereas white is more clean looking. I like the dark since I like to have this "cave" feeling when I watch movies etc. But I also like the white since it is easier to see individual statues. They don't vanish in the darkness. I could imagine having both, tbh, Both will look great in either case. Thanks btw! :)

Hi there~ So i started on my project and just installed the ikea ledberg lights. I'm getting paranoid because I notice the light bulbs get pretty warm even though they're LED. I'm afraid it'll discolor the figures over time. Does your lights get hot as well? Thanks again!
Actually I just notice it looks like you have the LEDBERG lights as well.
