Surprisingly, I liked both THE NEW SIX performances the most. The ace just blew me away… he was the only one who showcased singing AND dancing in this mission so it was very memorable to me!🫠 I even almost shed tears 🤧 Also the group’s performance was like a theater😲 nothing was predictable at all and I was impressed a lot of times! What also shook me is that they had sooooo much energy with just 6 member… 😮💨 they are first in my heart. And I might have to Stan them if they keep impressing me💖🤧 I liked Oneus group performance too🤩

The little comments some people would make on the side absolutely took me out lol, this is all so unserious at its core lmao I really hope both fans and the groups dont take this show tooooo seriously, cuz we all gotta remember mnet loves making things seem so much worse and dramatic etc, but they are all good friends and this is simply a good opportunity for them to show their talent and hopefully gain new fans, which they all deserve sm
Falsified drama is why I avoid "reality" shows, but I love Oneus and 8Turn, and I'm The New Six curious, so I'll be watching. Trying to keep our stan stress down is a noble service. Thank you! I figured Oneus came back to juice a career they may've felt plateaud. But I forgot the average lifespan of a K-pop idol group is a seven short years. They have what it takes to prolong their careers, and maybe the show can challenge their creativity. 8Turn ate and left zero crumbs. Can they keep up the high bar they set for themselves? If nothing else, the show dropping explains why we got literally one day's notice for ticket sales for their first concert tour that won't happen till April. Create buzz, create sales. The New Six. That is some crazy talent that needs something. Exposure, yes, but ... a different creative team? I don't know. But there's a disconnect that's holding them back.

They know who they are and what they do best, they went out and did it without mistakes, and it won them the episode. And yet I worry for them, because this show is (ostensibly) about pushing teams to find their identity, show their skills, and make diamonds under a type of pressure that I don’t know if 8TURN have ever really experienced before. I could see the show making them even more cohesive and powerful, but I could also see it forcing them to complicate the equilibrium that they already have, fracturing their team identity by bringing it into the spotlight. I really agree that The New Six are ferociously talented but a little unmoored in terms of creative direction. In my non-dancer opinion, whoever choreographs for them is giving them choreography that doesn’t highlight their strengths (group cohesion, measured and intentional movement, formations, and passionate stage presence). I love watching them command the stage, I just wish their dances were less vigorous and complex, because it actively detracts from their amazing strengths (in my opinion only). @bonk3800 8TURN as a group doesn't have much survival show experience, but Jaeyun has experience with two of the worst survival shows to ever exist (with one being an mnet show). That will hopefully keep them afloat.

I think this is a really interesting set of teams. I don’t have anyone irl to talk to about this so here’s my take although no one asked: I think Cravity went for the exact wrong concept. To me, their brighter performances (Adrenaline, Party Rock, Groovy) are far more memorable and give them much more room to shine individually on stage. It would have shown them as confident and have been accurate to their vibe. It also sucked that they didn’t get to perform in the episode. I have very few thoughts on Younite other than they seemed to have committed very hard to their concept but that concept doesn’t feel authentic to them. Tempest did well overall. I feel as though they’re still trying to nail down their group balance and style onstage after losing a member who was a strong performer. TNX’s performances intrigue me because each time they take the stage I can feel how much they want it. I can’t wait for their performance design and dancing skills to refine a little so they can truly shine. If anything shoots TheCrewOne in the foot on this show, it’ll be their lack of actual songs, because their performance and entertainment skills are clearly there. ATBO’s experience on Peak Time is so evident and impressive, from actually performing and improving together in front of judges to hyping up fellow teams. Thank you to ONEUS for actually having their mics on and singing during their team performance. they’re a cohesive team with excellent skills and a Vision TM. I think they should’ve place first despite their mistakes, which I barely even noticed. I find that 8TURN are actually advantaged by being the youngest group. They feel compellingly uncomplicated. They know who they are, they trust their group dynamic, and their performances are effective, straightforward, well-conceptualized, and well-practiced. I think their youthful confidence and self-assurance won them the episode, and I hope this experience solidifies that assurance rather than fractures it and they make it out stronger together as a team. Really looking forward to episode 2 and all the teams bonding and succeeding more!! also this video is hilarious thank you for highlighting the goofiness and the interactions, MNET really loooooves to draw out the drama. it took me out how serim tried so hard to make things less awkward like he's all like "so how do you feel :)" "i'm kinda fucking pissed" ":o" and it's even funnier knowing eunsang is good friends with minhee and hyeongjun who had to watch the exchange . on bubble eunsang was saying he got kinda nostalgic because hyeongjun called him neunggeum , which is a nickname that kinda died off a few years ago , so he was really on an emotional rollercoaster . it was rough all around , but extra rough for minhee hyeongjun and eunsang . the goofy interactions are really gonna be the saving grace of this show because the editing is just awful

I was just shocked at the difference in perspective when the new six got 1st from self-evaluation but 6th from streaming audience, and then oneus got the reverse (6th in self evluation and 1st streaming)

I'm a big fan of CRAVITY and I also love ONEUS so actually watching the show is too stressful. I don't like to see my faves suffer. Especially since CRAVITY got the ranking that they did last time 😭😭😭
it took me out how serim tried so hard to make things less awkward like he's all like "so how do you feel :)" "i'm kinda fucking pissed" ":o" and it's even funnier knowing eunsang is good friends with minhee and hyeongjun who had to watch the exchange . on bubble eunsang was saying he got kinda nostalgic because hyeongjun called him neunggeum , which is a nickname that kinda died off a few years ago , so he was really on an emotional rollercoaster . it was rough all around , but extra rough for minhee hyeongjun and eunsang .
the goofy interactions are really gonna be the saving grace of this show because the editing is just awful

I found Geonu through this epsiode. I liked him during i land but never kept up with him. I'm so happy to see him in this cool group. but idk if they're going to stay as a group after the show?? I was sad that they got 6th :/ I thought cravity did well in the ace battle and it was restrained movemenets on purpose but i guess he was too nervous.

I feel like the boys would have a better sense for a good performance compared to the audience who might vote just by popularity
I was just shocked at the difference in perspective when the new six got 1st from self-evaluation but 6th from streaming audience, and then oneus got the reverse (6th in self evluation and 1st streaming)
I agree that 50/50 would’ve been a better ratio, especially given that there’s already a decent popularity imbalance between the groups to begin with.
