- This week's warrior of the week is none other than Jayfeather. This is the first protagonist out of all the videos I've done, and I've tried my best to get it done in a week and do him justice! Jayfeather has grown on me through the years, and I enjoy his snarky personality.

there's a alternate universe where Jayfeather's ability to sense other cats' feelings drove him insane due to him being unable to tell his thoughts from others. plus his ability sounds a lot like telepathy, the ability to read one's mind. though his is through the extreme. it's said that the blind is said to have some sort of psychic abilities and Jayfeather is no exception.

Fun fact: blind cat eyes look like normal cat eyes, just a bit clouded, sometimes that pupil cat be a dark blue instead of black.

i learned of a scene in one of the newer books. Jayfeather is somewhat upset though he doesn't show it due to him masking his sensitive side with a tough exterior. it's clear that something's wrong and Alderheart knows it. when asked, Jayfeather, obviously in a somewhat state of denial states that he's fine. but in reality he's hurting due to mix of the loss of his mother, Leafpool and his own self doubts. finally Alderheart informs him of a moonpool meeting involving a injured cat but when they arrive, Alderheart and the other medicine cats inform Jayfeather that he is the injured cat which means two things.
1.they meant his emotional injuries
2.this is basically an intervention that is needed
to make a long story short, Jayfeather learns to move on and knows that his mother will always be there in Starclan watching over him.

I don’t understand how this makes sense: Crowfeather is black, Leafpool is a brown tabby and they have a silver kit (Jayfeather), a black kit (Hollyleaf) and a golden kit (Lionblaze). How and why???
that's actually happens realy often in rl . it's quite normal for cats of no breed to have a few kittens that are completely different colors :)
well, ashfoot is grey and is jaykit's grandmother and sandstorn is leafpool's mom and is yellow like lionkit
plus cat biology is weird as far as i know, one cat i had would birth gray and calico kits no matter the father despite her being black
It actually makes a bit of sense when you look through the family tree, Sandstorm's mother was said to be Brindleface and despite Leapool and Crowfeather being both one brown and one black cat Jayfeather could have gotten his silver pelt from his great grandmother Brindleface who was said to be "pale gray" (if you count it as canon).
As for Lionblaze it is entirely possible he got his pelt from his grandmother Sandstorm since she is said to have a "pale ginger" pelt and his is described as golden not too far off.
As for Hollyleaf it's obvious she had gotten her coat from Crowfeather since he is said to have a "dark smokey-gray, almost black" assumedly pelt and it makes the most sense compared to Jayfeather and Lionblaze.

Hollyleaf: She gets her black pelt from Crow and her green eyes from Squirrel.
Lionblaze: He got the tabby and eye color of his mother and it became a ginger-like because of his grandfather, Firestar.
Jayfeather: He got his mother’s tabby self but it lightened by Cloud being all white. Then it became a silver-blue by Rainwhisker, as they are cousins.
