    Never feel bad about putting yourself first!! It doesnt matter what engagements you have, your health and education should always be the most important. I didnt learn that until my sophomore year of college and it would have been nice to know sooner

    • @holly-yr
      @holly-yr 4 ปีที่แล้ว +6

      even when i try the bf and fb knots on the end of the rows it still ends up wonky. also when i do that method the actual rows don’t stay straight, like the knots on the side go upwards so it creates a slightly flattened ‘u’ shape. would you just recommend practice or is there any other method?

    • @mk_knots4357
      @mk_knots4357 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      honey bracelets sometimes, if you tie your knots really tight, it can sometimes curl up, especially when you have fb and bf knots. Tension is really important. If you want to learn more, please go to either braceletbook.com or friendshipbracelets.net and visit the forums to have a more detailed answer. :)

    Hi Alex, I hope you're doing well and I have a question for you! You mention lightly about avoiding showing string on the side of the bracelet. You showed the yellow string showing on the sides of a blue background bracelet ( I hope that made sense). I've been having a lot of trouble avoiding showing switched strings on the edge of the bracelet and was wondering if you can explain how to do that?! Thank you very much in advance and hope you're healthy and safe!

    • @AlexInnovations
      @AlexInnovations  4 ปีที่แล้ว

      Courtney B hi!! instead of using the flat alpha technique, you can just use the normal technique when switching near the edges! :)

    • @courtneyb9351
      @courtneyb9351 4 ปีที่แล้ว +1

      @@AlexInnovations Ahhh thank you so much!! I love your videos btw! I started using your loop triangle to bracelet technique ( I know there's another name but couldn't think of it) :p. I find Alpha's easier than normal patterns which is weird. I just can't make normal patterns look good when you skip over a color on every other step. Maybe you know how to make it look nice? I was watching a video that you add an extra string on each side and just forward and backward knot and opposite only on those strings. It just doesn't make sense when the ends have different colors (if that makes sense). Sorry to bombard you with questions, but I thought you may know how to explain to do it! Thank you again!!

    when you're talking about the strings sticking out and showing the Ikea bracelet that has the issue, what do you mean by "switch strings normally"? i've only ever used the flat alpha technique and i have the strings sticking out issue all the time and i don't understand how to fix it. should i just watch a tutorial on alpha patterns that doesn't utilize the flat alpha technique in order to understand what you're talking about, or is there some trick to it? thanks in advance to you or anyone who answers me
