I have a lot of fond memories going to this mall on birthdays and holiday weekends, beginning when I first turned 12 (2008). It was here where I had my first Dave & Buster's experience, playing Harley-Davidson & L.A. Riders for the first time in the big deluxe cabinet and absolutely falling in love with the game. That game is no more here, nor some of the other great classics including House of the Dead 2. To make matters worse, there is a lot of violence and tragedy behind this mall's legacy. But I have no doubt this mall is rockin' and rolling 22 years later.
I love hearing stories like this. I grew up in a small town so my arcade memories are from our rec center. We would play House of the Dead and MK after practice. I agree though, this mall has changed so much and it has had its issues but it's still flooded with people so I'm sure it will be fine. Thanks for stopping by and hanging out!
Thanks! It's a nice mall but I definitely suggest going on a weekday. It can get a little crowded on the weekends. Hanes mall is pretty cool if I remember correctly too. It's been a while for that one though. Thanks for watching! Nice name btw.
Very interesting video! I've never been to Charlotte before since I don't know anyone there, but if I ever do go, I'd be willing to check this mall out nearby. Although malls aren't my regular places to shop, (Walmart is) I like the other non-shopping related attractions they have to offer.
Just so ya know, there are a few things that have changed since the video. For example, the Disney store is no longer there. My entire channel is based off of stuff to do in the Charlotte area. If you're interested, you can subscribe and watch the videos. If you have any questions about the area, just ask and I'll try to help! Either way, I hope you enjoy it here as much as we do!
I bought mine from the Universal Studios passholder lounge. I’ve seen them sell on eBay and you might be able to call Universal and have them ship you one if you want it. Thanks for watching!
Hey great video thanks for the walk thru, this was really informative. I am curious where you found that very cool SpaceX hat? Thanks again for the video.
Thanks man, I really appreciate it! I actually picked that hat up in Florida at the Kennedy Space Center. We went down and watched a couple rocket launches and it jazzed me up enough to buy a hat lol. If you’re interested in the launches, I made a video of those as well. Just tell me and I’ll link both of them for you. The night launch I recorded was AMAZING but I also saw their first manned launch as well.
Some of these stores (including the Disney store) have closed. Please check their website for a current store listing.

That's what really makes this place. We love the aquarium and go karts. Thanks for watching and I'm glad you enjoyed it!
Thank you I am moving here next month
