From an old Fan of Hackney Speedway back in the day this race stacks up alongside When Barry Thomas took Scoot Autry and Ivan Mauger on the last bend to win the race can still see it today glad to see there are still great racers and races !
Absolutely the definition of "manning up". Harris gets run over by his teammate, yet wins the race after the restart and an awesome battle with Holder.
That was quite an achievement, with a broken shoulder. He got hit by a handle, right into the shoulder, that would, and did cause a fraction in the shoulder, rib-cage and maybe even something extra to the collar bones. That's why he got up so fast, when they picked him up by the arms. Just had to jog the pain away, and shrug the pieces back together. Broken shoulder/upper torso also explains wide angles, where the right hand just gives in under pressure. All and all, one an amazing ride. This Chris Harris is a whole different Baller.
Bomber is made of steel. He's such a great rider.... and such a nice guy. I had a pit walk, and had a photo with him..... he was so so so SO nice..... that night he scored a 15 point maximum.

Is it just me or were the Poole fans cheering when Harris got taken out? Plus Holder not getting excluded just goes to show how the referee's (and the BSPA for that matter) favour Poole.
In my opinion Sky have always favoured that team from Dorset, that's how much I hate them, I say that, I have nothing against either of the rider's but in my opinion Holder should have been excluded.... but as a King's Lynn fan it hurts me to say that, he's at a better club now, well I think he is anyway.

You've got to be tough to do any Bike Racing as your gonna crash sooner or later, but Speedway Riders are a different breed and shale is just as hard as tarmac when you hit it..
