    Great tip Bob, I use a box and I added some foam to protect the equipment. You have a quality Tripod with Manfrotto. I still have the one I bought over 30 years ago. Have a great Thursday 👍🏻🙋🏼‍♂️🙂

      Luc, I can't tell you how many tripods I have collected over the years. The Manfrotto is my favorite of them all. I really like the tripod pictured in the video because it is light weight and the telescoping leg locks are easy to use. Thanks for watching and commenting. Enjoy the Journey - Cheers

    How's she goin'? That is one fine carry all for camera gear Bob. And I can see where it would be super handy when making videos!! Thanks for the tip and take 'er easy!!

      I doing very good Mike. It's very helpful when I head out to make a video. There is nothing worse then finding out you are missing a piece of gear you want to use while making a video. Additionally, the tote rides nice in my loader bucket. Thanks for watching and commenting. Enjoy the Journey - Cheers

    Awesome Bob! I am still in the process of building up my youtube camera equipment stuff. At present I don't have a case, but this looks like a great idea. Thanks for sharing, Ben 👍

      Ben I started with the HFT hard case. It was okay, but it was more then I needed. I next purchased the HFT 17" Tool Tote and it was exactly what I was looking for in convenience with one exception. My tripod would not lay flat in the camera bag. I remembered HFT had a larger open top tool bag and so I bought the 20 Tool Tote and it was perfect for my application. I compared the price of other tool totes and HF seemed to offer the best price for basically the same product. The good news is the 17 inch tool tote was repurposed to keep my cordless drill, impact driver and batteries. Thanks for watching and commenting. Enjoy the Journey - Cheers

    This will help any youtube creator with everything we carry. Im using a backpack right now, but my tripod isn't very secure.

      Thanks Kenny, I was hoping this video can help people think about how they store and move their camera gear to and from the field. I went through several different solutions until I settled upon this idea. It's not important what the brand of tote a person uses, but that the solution meets their needs. Thanks for watching and commenting. Enjoy the Journey - Cheers

    Very good but untaditional idea.......I like it. Great tip Bob......thanks. No HF up here in the cold we have a brand called Husky that is distributed through Home Depot. You may have that brand also due to HD being US. Maybe your HF is similar to our Princess Auto. I think that is a better comparison. Anyhow, Great stuff Bob!

    • @botabob
      @botabob  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      Brian, I think Princess Auto is the kind of store for me. I learned of Princess Auto from Paul Short. I would shop around for the best price/value. I would look at what you need to carry and buy the tote that can carry your gear. I don't recommend the hard case like I showed in the video. I find that when I cannot see the gear, I don't use the gear. That is why I like this open top tool tote for my camera gear. I hope you and Holly are doing well. Thanks for watching and commenting. Enjoy the Journey - Cheers

    Great tips Bob. I’m constantly leaving the house with my arms full of camera gear when I head out to make a video. Thanks for sharing. Cheers, Mike.

      @botabob  7 หลายเดือนก่อน +1

      LOL! That''s why I originally bought the hard case. I did not like the limitations of the hard case. Of course, everything is a compromise, but I've been using the 17 inch tool tote for over a year. I did not like the way my tripod fit into the tote. So, I bought the 20 inch tote which is a better fit me and my tripod. Additionally, the tool totes ride well in the bucket of the BX loader. Thanks for watching and commenting. Enjoy the Journey - Cheers

      I find the camera bag to be very convenient way to keep my camera gear together and easier to move into the field to make videos. I like to be able to look into the bag and find what I am looking for. Best of all, I can repurpose my camera bag into a tool tote. Thanks for watching and commenting. Enjoy the Journey - Cheers
