Life is but a moment, so make it a moment of obedience to Allah and His Messenger ﷺ. May Allah have mercy upon Sidi Mu'adh al-Nass. He is the son of the Mountain of Knowledge, 'Allamah Samir al-Nass, and the grandson of the Leaders of the Qur'an Reciters in the lands of Shaam (Shaykh Muhammad Taha al-Sukkar). This young man grew up in the laps of the 'ulama, awliya, the salihin, and the lovers of the Messenger of Allah ﷺ in Shaam until Allah honoured him to spread the love of Rasulallah ﷺ across the world with his beautiful voice. The Prophet ﷺ said that one of the 7 who will be under Allah's shade on the Final Day will be a young man who grew up in the obedience of Allah. I've known Sidi Mu'adh since he was a young boy living in Damascus. He was a child who was nurtured upon adab and intense respect for the Qur'an and the Prophet ﷺ that was granted the Quran. Everyone who met him can attest to his beautiful character and his etiquettes. He would often recite, 'Grant us your intercession, O Messenger of Allah!' We pray that Allah raises him on the Final Day with the Messenger of Allah, grants him his intercession, allows him to drink the water of Kawthar from his blessed hands, and allows him to enter Jannah with Rasulallah ﷺ. We also ask Allah to grant his parents, family and children patience and reward during this time of difficulty and hardship.
