Well I think it depends on the context of the video as well as the person. Many youtubers or influencers who don't have malicious intents, actually do it for a reason like maybe an informative video on a type of controversy which is backed up with valid proof. But on the other hand, this girl said don't bully him but then proceeds to try and defame him while keeping this "But he's not that bad" persona. If that's the case, there was no need to even put out the video😭

Seriously. She kept saying "trauma" as if this very thing doesn't happen to most fucking families. Shit, I lived in a household where my mom abused my dad for years, kicked him out for 2 years, brought him back to live in the basement, and when she finally left him for a woman, she lied to the courts saying he was an abusive drug addict and then tried to have him arrested on false claims of domestic abuse. Yet even I don't call this traumatic. It was probably way more traumatic for my dad, if anyone. (Also, thank God my brother was secretly recording that night because the video actually showed HER chasing him around the house at 1am, punching, slapping, and kicking him trying to get a reaction and when he pushed by her, she literally threw herself into the goddamn wall and called the cops. Once they saw the video from my brother, they asked him if he wanted to press charges and he said no, so they left...all that started because he put locks on the basement door to keep her away from him and she got mad that she couldn't go down there and provoke him or rummage through his belongings anymore, resulting in her taking a fvcking hammer to the door to break in and attack him and scream at him). I used to PRAY that my dad would leave her bc he was so depressed and miserable, but he was so afraid that if he did, she'd take us and he'd never see his kids again. I love my dad and would defend him to the end of the world. Hell, despite the shit my mom did, I still worked with her until we eventually came to some sort of understanding. I certainly wouldn't shout her real name from the rooftops or destroy her image by going public with all that. Anonymous, whatever, but the second you use real names and faces, you've fucked up. I don't even really care who's right or wrong, people need to stop publicly airing out their personal problems and dirty laundry. Make that shit anonymous or keep your mouth fucking shut. She's despicable either way in my eyes. And it ain't fvcking trauma. She may be hurt, but she didn't experience trauma. Pathetic childish stupid little girl.

Ben posted another video, explaining that he did pay for her medical bills growing up, which she's being disingenuous about.
In college, she had a break up, and wanted to seek grief counseling. That's what he refused to pay.
She states multiple times, that he just completely abandoned them after the divorce. Meanwhile, his new vid shows her at around age 10-12 along with her siblings.
He took them to the beach, waterparks, and other vacations.
He asked her about her passions at the time, all while still giving her mother over 10k a month.

As both a daughter and a sister, this is absolutely heartbreaking, cringe, and upsetting. I have a younger sister that also makes false accusations against not just on my dad, but both my parents. She apparently has a podcast and makes TikToks about her “traumas” growing up. She went as far as accusing my hardworking, loving father of SAing her and only her. She and I shared the same bedroom our entire childhood, and obviously know that’s not true. But she blocked and cut off our entire family and people that knew us since we were kids so no one could call her out on it. She’s the youngest girl out of the 5 of us, so she was the rotten spoiled brat and was WELL taken care of (of course I can say that since she’s my sister and allowed to make fun of her lol). How can anyone take her side of the story seriously when she can't even keep her own story straight? She said in her response that she didn't hear from him for years and then within the same breath she contradicted herself and said that he came around every 2 months and had dinner with them which would imply on no uncertain terms that you DID see your dad on a somewhat regular basis and even self admitted to have shared meals together.
She came out of nowhere and publicly leveled heavy accusations of parental neglect on her dad for no reason, her dad came out in a civil manner and told his side of the story while correcting and/or expanding on certain things that he felt needed to be expanded upon and later she comes out and tries to discredit her dad's side of the story and ends up contradicting her own statements in the process. What reason does she give me to believe anything she is saying?
Where is the evidence of him being a bad father? Because him forgetting her birthday is a weak argument since not everyone has a good memory, especially so if you're older and have multiple kids to keep track of.

For me the girl is lying because she is like "trust me bro, all my core family says he is lying" yet no proof of that. Not saying talk to your dad, although you should, just saying at least talk to your mom about your dad or other family members cause even in my family we see how everyone says my dad is so energetic and positive but we usually dont get to see that as he works alot and basically lives in the basement (he used to work 3 jobs or so but had to stop not cause of problems but cause the tax jump from 2 to 3 didnt make sense for the hours he worked to him) im not nearly at bedt friends with dad level but im slowly getting there

How did he not "help her with her medical bills" when he'd been paying 18k a month on child support? That's completely insane, that's almost twice the money I earn in a YEAR. And of course if the divorce was nasty, the mother has an incentive to make him look bad and her young children would be heavily influenced by her. Her entire thing just seems to be for clout. If you notice, outside of "being absent" and "not helping with medical bills" she just throws around vague things like "traumatic", "unhinged" or things like that. The fact that she presented the whole story as "he abandoned us to do breakdancing" even though he started 7 YEARS later makes me doubt everything she's saying. Her story is just too vague, too full of "plot holes" and seems overall way more opportunistic than his side.

When I asked for evidence of course there wasn't any; also the fact I do not have his mother's phone number, if I did it would be permanently blocked and have no desire or will to contact her at all. I once was traumatized when I was eight, I don't know whether it's that serious but I was left home alone with my brother, and I took out a bagel from the freezer, it didn't fit in the toaster and I tried to cut it in half, apparently I was stupid at the time and I cut my finger deep to the point my blood just kept gushing out even when I kept washing my finger in the sink, I thought of three things at first, "Ouch, that hurts.", "Are my piano days over?", and "Why isn't the blood stopping?". Although this problem has been resolved because my brother called my parents, I have a scar on my right hand on my pointer finger, and I've sticked to using butter knives.
    Moral: Butter knives are better.

I think the term "deadbeat" gets thrown around to much.
A deadbeat is so one who deasapears without a trace. no care for the children and often also avoiding financial help.
If a parent takes itself about of the eqasion fore the childrens sake (mental health, drug abuse, criminal background e.c.t.) but still tries to support the children, the parent isn't a deadbeat.
Also there are many cases, where the parents separate and the custodian deliberately keeps the other away by all means. I wouldn't count that as a deadbeat either.

She calls it childhood trauma when even if he lived in Florida she said he visited every 2 Months. Please.
After my parents divorced my Mum moved from Switzerland (where my dad lives and I was born) to Sweden (my dad can't speak Swedish while my Mum speaks French which is what was spoken in the part of Switzerland we lived in beforehand). I do not blame either of them for that decision cause they both thought the education and health care would be better in Sweden (honestly I didn't care for school in Sweden and would rather have grown up in Switzerland, but that's the past and what's done is done and they did what they thought was best). My dad would visit during December for 2 weeks in Sweden and we (my sister and I) would visit him in the summer every year for 2 weeks. We also moved to Sweden when I was 4. What I never get is having resentment and badmouthing your divorced ex. My mum and dad are still very good friends and just accepted they weren't a good match marriage wise and I have always and to this day still love both of them very much. I'm visiting my dad this summer again with my sister, brother in law, niece, nephew and my brother in laws parents. I also plan to move to Japan in the future and this is not due to not loving my family in Europe, but simply cause it's my dream and what I want to do. I do plan to wait until I live there, have a stable job, wife that I've been with long enough to know she's the one and a home I wouldn't wanna move from for at least 20 or so years.
She just needs to grow tf up. Not everything works out how you would ideally want it and sometimes you have to live far from one of your parents, but that's just life. Accept it rather than crying that you weren't born with a perfect life cause no one is.

(2-3 years ago, I'm not really sure.) Its not traumatizing. Its just hard dealing with it. My dad is completely absent, like he's dead or something. I only see him a select few times, and its just like seeing a stranger in public. He doesn't even talk to me.
Shes making this seem like he was there being an abusive father. No, he was gone. Grow up.
Also, I would NEVER make a video about my dad online. Mainly if I knew thousands, or millions of people could see it. And sharing stuff like that for views is pathetic and sad. Find other content to post, it'll make your life way better.
