ABOUT THE VOICE
The four-time Emmy Award-winning musical competition series "The Voice" returns as Queen of Country Reba McEntire claims her red chair alongside last season's champ, Niall Horan, and returning superstar coaches John Legend and Gwen Stefani as they vie to discover and coach the next singing phenomenon.
The show's innovative format features five stages of competition: Blind Auditions, Battle Rounds, Knockouts, Playoffs and Live Performance Shows.
This season, the block returns to the Blind Auditions, and during Battles, each coach will have two steals to use. The Three-Way Knockouts are also back. This time, however, artists will select their own songs to perform.
Once the Live Performance Shows begin, the top artists will compete against each other weekly during a live broadcast. This time, the television audience will vote to save their favorite artists. In the end, one artist will be named "The Voice" and receive the grand prize of a recording contract.

Last night on The Voice, I was surprised and thrilled to hear "The Heart Won't Lie", a number 1 Country hit sung by Reba McEntire and Vince Gill. Two singers, mentored by Reba, sang it on the show.

Jackson Is from my hometown and I have met him multiple times and he is one of the nicest people I have ever met. His voice is so amazing!!

@@JordanRainer your voice was amazing I actually missed this episode, due to a surgery I had done, but once I seen it you both nailed that Reba song, I think you both are wonderful you two have Raw, Natural Talent Myself and my family are from Scott County which is where Jackson is from and I of course thought it would be great to see a Hometown guy win the Voice, but once hearing you I was so Undecided you did a wonderful job , Keep it up , Good luck your going places.

Both are amazing performers. Each has its own sounds that leave you wishing you don’t want to have to let anyone go. That was an amazing performance. Jordan has such a sweet personality and she can really sing. Jackson can sing really well too! All 3 battles so far this season are amazing. I have a feeling this will be a great season. It is nice that these two are actually singing quietly but also strong and full of emotion. Really tired of hearing some singers on the show always shouting, screaming, and posing … people may say I do not understand music and I don’t. As a lay member of the audience, I simply appreciate this style of singing, country, or any genre… thank you for a tasteful performance! I Love Jordan’s cool and natural humor and love both Jackson’s and Jordan’s voices and styles. She started so emotionally then he came in with that iconic vocal tone. Those twangy harmonies were tickling me a bit. She had some breath issues but this was so good overall. First, I just want to say these 2 did an AWESOME job singing together. Alone, they are justbas good, no doubt. I realized long ago this beautiful young lady had a talent. I hope she dont mind me sayimg this, but I used t watch her videos on youtube back in 2000's. Iwas blown away, especially with the altetnate tunings she'd play her guitar and her voice, well, its pretty evident how great it is and she has only gotten better over the years. This young lady, has such a good heart that she helped me and my family out back around 2009 or so, when we lost 2 local children in a fire and 2 weeks later, in next county over,Ilost 4 cousins tonanother fire both right before Christmas 2008. Dec 10,and Dec 24. These 2 communities were devastated. I, beingva musician myself, remember seeing her on youtube and I reached out to her to see if we could do song together using youtube, dedicating it to not only the families mentikned,but all people whom may be going through a loss. Music, to me, has a powerful way to help the healing process. A few of the children at outmr church where the 2 young girls went, got together and put their feeling onmpaper and I did the same and after contacting jordan,she agreed to help. I know this wasa unique situation, but this sweet young lady did what I wish a lot of people would do. Show compassion. Seems like fewer people nowadays have lost theitmr compassion. Not all, but just not like it used to be. Anyway, she took the words from myself and the kids from church and after a bit, I got a message that she had a recent video she posted. It broyght me to tears along with all involved in this tragedy. The family of the 2 young girls whom were lost in 1st fire, were still dealing with the Mother, whom by the way, had recently adopted 4 siblings along with her husband months before all this took place. The mother, whom, has siince passed away a few years after this, was burned some on her body along with another daughter, whom survived but with lasting scars. They were still heart broken, as anybody woukd be,listened to the song and were at a loss for words. I let my family know about the song since we had 4 more children in next county over perished in 2nd fire. They, too, were brought to tears. Thecwords and music that Jordan wrote and played, gave them all hope that these children were at peace and they would one day be reunited with them oe sweet day. Jordan has since removed video ifthis song. I really wish she would have kept it on here. I really believe the world needed to hear her powerful message in this song. Jordan Self Rainer, you are and ALWAYS will be the "GUITARMASTER" to me as you were on your earlier youtube channel. You are truly an ANGEL and I hope we get to cross paths one day so I can tell your personally, what you truly mean to.me and all you have touched with your words. All these contestants ae worthy of winning the Voice. I am wanting them all to win, but Jordan, you are already a winner in my opinion, and always "STILL AMAZING ME", just like thecwords of your song you wrote for us. GOD Bless you girl. You truly deserve it all.

That was an amazing battle! Perfect song choice for both of them and they killed that! Both stepped up and gave their best performance so far. I would have to give the win to Jordan. I thought she sounded slightly better on the song and she has more to show. I think she has the best shot of making finale and is the more popular as well. They were both evenly matched. I'm honestly expecting Jordan to be picked and to win in the app.
