I just switched to bitwig as a 10 year Logic Pro user. Love it. It’s for sure missing stuff that big daws have had. My #1 issue is comping audio loops. If you have an 8 bar loop and a 4 bar loop your trying to comp into it lets say as a full you can’t move it to the end of the 8 bar loop to comp it there.
yeah there's def some things that could be improved and added. overall I'm happy I picked up bitwig for most of my production needs. I still use other software when i need it tho
I just started using Bitwig and I love it. I’ve had a license for the 8 track version for a couple years and never really dove in until a couple of week ago and immediately upgraded to essential then to producer a few days ago and will be upgrading again when the next sale is on. I love Fl Studio but Bitwig is just better
It's half off right now! I'm thinking of jumping all the way in as it's my first DAW and I don't want keep spending so much time researching DAW and hardware and software integration, I just want to play music. @@zmmmzmmmz I’ve only been using it for about two weeks but I’ve been on it for hours a day, many hours. I also just upgraded to the full version and I’m in love with it,seriously. I can’t say there are any downsides for me and the kind of music I make which is mostly just electronic stuff,no recording,no singing-just synths, samples, drum machines etc. the only thing I miss from Fl Studio is scale snapping/high lighting in the piano roll just to make it easier to draw notes without having to count steps but even without that its a good piano roll. I highly recommend Bitwig,I could go on and on about why its so great but I’d recommend getting the demo and checking it out,you still have several days before the sale is over
@@jonaudio it really is I’m having too much fun with it,I like to think I’ll continue using Fl as well but unfortunately after only a couple weeks of using Bitwig Fl Studio feels quite clunky in comparison. Oh well.
Welcome to the club. A sound designer's dream, indeed. Not only are many of the devices (both instruments and effects) good, but you can create your own ;) The interactive help should have become a standard in ANY application years ago already. But then I guess many youtubers would be out of a job :)))
Thanks Jon!! appreciate it!! Im finding this DAW so much fun and easier to use than I thought it would be...the only problem im having is getting audio from my Yamaha MODX into Bitwig
You really piqued my interest with this one so I went and downloaded the trial... WOW! It really is a better version of Ableton! Extremely intuitive, was able to get a simple track going without needing to look up how to do a single thing. Feels more stable. Looking forward to seeing everything else the program has to offer.
@@jonaudio Just bought Bitwig on the current 50% off special. Coming from Cubase, it's so much more fun and much faster to produce in. Look forward to seeing more Bitwig stuff on the channel!
Cool channel, can I leave a tip? Add the bigwig logo to your thumbnails, normally I wouldn't have clicked on your video because it give the impression that it's something different. And your video's are totally worth it to be seen :)
As a noob electronic musician, Roger Linn recommended Bitwig when I bought a Linnstrument. I made a lot of music with Bitwig the first year I used it but I went hunting for a new DAW when the trial period ran out and ended up purchasing Ableton. It took me three years to get to where I was producing at the same level I was with Bitwig. (Somebody explain sunk cost fallacy to me.) That's mostly a testament of how difficult Ableton is to learn how to do well, although it's also a reflection of the amount of time I had to study each. I do miss the look and feel of Bitwig.
Bitwig is better or writing. Studio One is better for mixing and mastering. People tend to prefer the ones that more align to what part of the workflow they spend the majority of time doing or enjoy more.
Me too. After Studio One, my other choice currently is Bitwig, and I'm considering making it my first. It is so well structured, everything is very easy, light, fast, with a design that I love. What stops me is the midi.
awesome Video thanks ! only thing I miss from Bitwig is grid transparency within the Audio clip and midi, and scale highlight hope they will add to new update cheers my friend
@@jonaudio It is possible to have this if you really want it. You need to make a reference track with a note clip that includes notes on all the notes in the scale. Then when you are on a new track, you can turn on layer editing. you can then turn off the pencil mark on the reference track and make it always visible. That way it will show it dimmed on top of your current track in the note editor.
It's a little bit of work to setup, I once set it up with all the major and minor scales in a new template. To be fair, I don't use it that much anymore, but it can be helpful. I'm sure eventually it will be included in bitwig.
LOL when I first saw FL as a vst and loaded it up, I almost fell out of my chair haha. "yo I heard you like DAWs, so we put a DAW inside your DAW" imagine running bitwig, with an FL vst, and programming an entire track in falcon
After installing Bitvig and studying it thoroughly. I have given up on most external VSTs. And now I install only what complements Bitwig. Similar to the Ozone equalizer, which has a linear mode. Or a linear crossover from NIH plugs to do multiband processing of your master bus. Moreover, these are also free plugins. Most of the sounds I make inside the Grid, some I make in the Vital. You just need to set up your Serum and Massive tables. Which are in the public domain. As well as free tables from ESW. In general, Bitwig provides me with everything I need for serious production. For $15 a month. Since they still have rent-to-own. The ultimate solution!
That's what I really have been enjoying about bitwig. I use less vsts and if there is something specific I need, most times I can just build it. such a great daw!
he’s talking about a linear phase crossover to avoid phase shift when doing multiband on the master and screwing stuff up. I also second the original comment. I basically don’t use 3rd party plugins anymore. unless it’s something like a piano VST I really like, or anything else that can’t easily be done in bitwig… which is uncommon. like, I’ve even ditched Serum which is my main synth, because bitwig’s Polymer synth with a wavetable oscillator loaded up is basically identical to Serum. I’ve built dozens of Grid presets that recreate common, paid plugins. bitwig is actually a dream come true for me.
I just switched to bitwig for writing and creating and keeping reaper for mixing/mastering and for complex routing (unless I learn how to route with bitwig with the same flexibility that reaper offers) This is my first week of really diving into bitiwg
that's a totally viable workflow, at the end of the day DAWs are tools, similar to synthesizers, its absolutely ok to use more than one to accomplish what we're working on. As far as daws go, I use Bitwig, FL, and Pro Tools. Depending on the project, it'll determine what daw/s Ill use ya know
@jonaudio yea, I completely agree. Two very different work flows. I am yet to make anything good in bitwig lol but I just started with it. There is just SO MUCH i can do. And I kind just want to do everything. Its like when I first started with phaseplant or avenger. Just because I have every tool doesn't mean I need to use them all at once. Its how I like to learn though. But bitwig seems like it will be great once I learn to harness it. I need to spend less time in the grid. It's so easy to lose a whole night doing grid things.
Haha yuuuuup I felt the exactly same way my first few weeks in bitwig, and I still feel that way sometimes. I only started using it frequently this January. It def takes a little getting used to and being OK with the fact that you may have to do things differently to get the same result you'd get in another daw. The grid is a really really cool environment to experiment with Fx or instruments. I've found making drums in the grid comes out really nice. I also made a nice chorus as well. I find the grid super helpful as a sketchpad and a sandbox to understand different concepts and make cool stuff at the same time.
@jonaudio yea for sure. I have made some really nice sounding drum sequences in there. Which is funny because if i try to make drum sequences in reaktor with blocks, it always sounds so lifeless or like a someone throwing a drum kit down a flight of stairs and no in between. I appreciate the content tho, I subbed for the avenger stuff, but your back catalog of videos has been popping into my feed and I have been getting some good stuff out of those. thanks again!
@PeteGunnShow you're very welcome man! Yeah on the channel it's almost up to 800 videos lol so def a back log of stuff to work thru if you're interested. I felt the same way about blocks, didn't sound too good to me, if I'm doing anything modular nowadays it's either bitwig grid or vcv
Awesome! Welcome! Have you put together a template yet? I've got a nice synthpop template I've put together. It's great cause you can set up everything perfectly. Also, one thing to notice is that by default the volume is -10db by default. I use the tool plugin to turn it up if I need it louder. (Definately start using Tool if you haven't already. You can easily change the gain, width, and panning.)
Tool is amazing! I've been using that pretty often. So far I've made a basic template and also a very barebones starting template. Been working on some other ones recently too. I wanna make a template I used to use in FL that's perfect for synth wave stuff
One tip I'd like to add that is in line with templates. You can right click on any device and set a default template. This also works for vst's. So everytime you load the device it will come with your init settings, modulations and control knobs applied.
I ask myself for a long time: when comes Jon audio to Bitwig? This is with tons of modulators, awesome filtering and the grid of course your perfect fitting daw. So I would say. Welcome home Jon. 🖖
Does Bitwig has the dump score log function like FL Studio? And what about CPU performance vs FL Studio? These are very important points for me using FL Studio
I am always tempted to get Bitwig because of The Grid which is unfortunately available only with Bitwig Studio, the most expensive version. But one day...
I love Bitwig. My only gripe with it is the MIDI editor is very bare bones compared to others and it is missing some helpful arrangement tools like I can find in Studio One or Waveform or even Luna. I really wish they would have a scales highlight system like Ableton or Studio One.
@@jonaudio MSEGs took literally forever but the devs smashed it by making them available everywhere. I’m optimistic for MIDI improvements on a similar scale ie not half baked!
I have a workaround I use until they add this feature. What I’ll do is place a small note in each of the degrees of the scale I’m in, right before the first bar of the clip. Then if you switch to drum editing mode, it will only show you notes that are already used in the clip. It can be a little tedious, but if you keep an empty midi clip with just the guide notes somewhere in the project, you can quickly duplicate it to other tracks to speed up the workflow.
@@jonasharp3 There is another workaround. First make a reference midi track with all the notes in your scale. Then when you are working on a new midi track, turn on layering mode on the bottom left of the clip window. adjust the layers so your reference track is always visible and editing is off.
bitwig’s piano roll is definitely lacking but make sure not to miss out on its amazing features like per note pitch bends. game changer for doing note slides on MPE compatible synths, which all of bitwig’s stock synths/samplers are.
Are there any major downsides to Bitwig? Do you use it for everything? Trying to decide what tier to pay for in the current 50% off sale. I'm new to computers+music together
@@jonaudioI went all in, largely for the grid and stock plugins. It might be a little too advanced for me but I just rewatched this video, I had been so trained for years that F1 was worthless that I hadn't thought to try it
I'm still too comfortable with Reason and some of its awesome propriety instruments to make a switch, but Bitwig seems to have a lot more going for it in terms of modulation and presentation. Also Reason can be finicky to work with some midi generation VST's, making it a bit of a pain to use at all (defeating the point of the plugin lol) and it would also be nice to have a main DAW that's not subscription based I guess.
@@jonaudio It was one of my first daws, I have tried it recently again. It's fun to play with it for a short while but quickly I found out that a lot of things that are really easy in bitwig are a lot of work in reason or plainly not possible.
I have both FL Studio and Bitwig and my only real gripe with Bitwig is it lacks the perpetual licence you get with FL. If it had that then it would be beyond awesome. Bitwig need to lower the price of the upgrades. I also own Cubase Elements and the upgrade price for that is a mere £25. Maybe Bitwig should focus on lowering the upgrade licence price and making their money with the add-on packs. We hobbyist musicians do not have the financial resources that pro studios have. Yes I know I can still use an old version.
Strongly disagree and so does the majority of the user base. They already tried paid add ons and it was an absolute disaster. You can buy an upgrade plan on sale multiple times throughout the year and even if you upgrade every year on the dot it’s only £9/month, which barely buys you a single measure gin and tonic in a London bar.
I never switch I add. That's why I still use Ableton sometimes, logic pro on somethings and most things in bitwig. Like a mechanic I have multiple tools some are better in certain circumstances. All or nothing to me is not smart.
can ableton do this on a project ... no (John did not even touch this part of the modulation ... ) , or even create your own devices in the grid...no ? not saying ableton is bad but it is missing some opportunities that make it become oldscool versus the new kid on the block
If you find a plugin to replace the Wave Candy scope and spectrograph please let me know. I’ve searched and haven’t found anything nearly as good as what you show in some of your earlier videos.
The only thing I hate about Bitwig is the browser 🙄 even Ableton is more organized and straight to the point on that. Just give me a window for plugins and a window for my sound libraries. Having all those options there and different windows makes it a hot mess. I don't like it.
Interesting 🤔 im not too familiar with ableton browser so no idea how they do it. But so far bitwig has been pretty simple for me to find everything I'm looking for.
Every time I tryit it tells me it can't find ASIO, while I'm looking at my installed ASIO4ALL driver which Reaper works with just fine. There's nothing else displayed, no options, just CAN'T FIND ASIO and so I uninstall Bitwig. After doing this three times I realized this won't work; I'm slow, but I get there. I love Reaper anyway, I just wanted to see what Bitwig's like, but since it can't function for some reason on my computer, Reaper it is.
@@jonaudio It is but, I still make all my trax in Maschine mainly because it's my No.1 program and I know it so well, BW is No.2 but : if REASON would get clip mode : I'd run back to REASON 😁
been using fl studio for 10 years and had same issues as you, and if we be honest making a clip for an automation is weird and the "events" of fl studio feel weird too, happy i have transitionned to women and to bitwig
Yeah there aren't nearly as many bitwig tutorials out there as there are for FL. I hope to see more in the future. Bitwig is a great daw. I'm super happy I switched over
It's unfortunate that by two times a reply and a comment I made about how easy it is to find literally hundreds of Bitwig video tutorials - and how to find them - were completely censored.
@@jonaudio On this video. I mentioned how to do a youtube search using "Bitwig " as a prefix then followed by some names. I will repeat here, it might pass. The censorship is not a fixed thing. If it was it could be demonstrated and brought to justice somehow. Here goes. "Bitwig " followed by "Polarity", "Taches", "Axel Reid", "Rumble channel". Polarity by himself has 246 Bitwig tutorial videos. Then there are also the ones provided by Bitwig themselves, at least a hundred videos. And also, other youtube audio content creators that put out from time to time Bitwig tutorials. So there's a lot. I wanted to chime in to bring this fact. Bitwig tutorials are not scarce by any means. And then there's the user guide which is quite complete.
Not sure why that got censored? I know sometimes when people put links as comments TH-cam will autoflag that as spam and remove. That may have been what happened 🤔
Even without considering grid devices, Bitwig still boasts the most powerful collection of stock devices compared to any other DAW. However, it has one of the weakest piano roll.
I'm really hoping for some Piano roll updates in the future. I'm sure they would attract more potential users if they spent a good about of time really revamping and improving the piano roll
I just can't stand how it looks. It looks like something from the windows 95 days. I know it's a silly complaint but if you are staring at something for hours, it matters.
😂😂 I couldn't even run it with my extremely powerfull HP and win 11. First it did not create a short cut, than it didn't start. I've contacted support, they told me it must be win 11 not letting the program go trough, so I turned off firewall, virus protection, yet still couldn't start the damn thing and Bitwig support was no help in the end. So for me personally Bitwig sucks sweaty donkey balls😂

I love Fl Studio but Bitwig is just better
bitwig is a great daw! so awesome you're using it now!
It's half off right now! I'm thinking of jumping all the way in as it's my first DAW and I don't want keep spending so much time researching DAW and hardware and software integration, I just want to play music. I've been half heartedly using the demo.
Are there any major downsides to Bitwig? Do you use it for everything?
Thanks!! I'm super excited about it!
@@jonaudio Beware, it's an infinite rabbit hole ;) Happy digging!
Thanks Jon!! appreciate it!! Im finding this DAW so much fun and easier to use than I thought it would be...the only problem im having is getting audio from my Yamaha MODX into Bitwig
thats odd, this is the only daw for me that did all these smootly for everything ... th-cam.com/video/NxT6blFC2j4/w-d-xo.html
It's super intuitive! It seems like everything is where it should be
You really piqued my interest with this one so I went and downloaded the trial... WOW! It really is a better version of Ableton! Extremely intuitive, was able to get a simple track going without needing to look up how to do a single thing. Feels more stable. Looking forward to seeing everything else the program has to offer.
That's so awesome!! Yeah it's pretty amazing huh? Haven't been able to put it down. I'm in it everyday haha
And your video's are totally worth it to be seen :)
thanks!! I appreciate the feedback, and thats absolutely do-able.
(Somebody explain sunk cost fallacy to me.)
That's mostly a testament of how difficult Ableton is to learn how to do well, although it's also a reflection of the amount of time I had to study each. I do miss the look and feel of Bitwig.
Never to late to go back, i still use Ableton but BitWig is my Main source for creativity
@@Italliving I'm sure I will one day.
I sense you'll be back in bitwig one day 🤙🤙
Very impressive! Bitwig would be my first choice after Studio One. The best of those two combined would be my dream DAW.
Bitwig is better or writing. Studio One is better for mixing and mastering. People tend to prefer the ones that more align to what part of the workflow they spend the majority of time doing or enjoy more.
I have studio one as well. I don't know all its capabilites since I haven't used it much
Me too. After Studio One, my other choice currently is Bitwig, and I'm considering making it my first. It is so well structured, everything is very easy, light, fast, with a design that I love. What stops me is the midi.
welcome to the world of bit-greatness. we love having you bro great content
Thanks dude!! 🙏🙏
I love Bitwig
My favorite daw. My only request is to be able to drag video into the timeline for film scoring.
awesome Video thanks ! only thing I miss from Bitwig is grid transparency within the Audio clip and midi, and scale highlight hope they will add to new update cheers my friend
a scale highlight feature would be really cool to have. I hope more updates come out improving the midi editor
I'm looking forward to more Bitwig video's from you and don't forget, you can still uses the best part of FL in side of Bitwig as a VST. Fwig Studio🤔.
LOL when I first saw FL as a vst and loaded it up, I almost fell out of my chair haha. "yo I heard you like DAWs, so we put a DAW inside your DAW" imagine running bitwig, with an FL vst, and programming an entire track in falcon
@@jonaudio Ohhh Yeah...Now you got me really thinking🤔 Experiment time🤣
After installing Bitvig and studying it thoroughly.
@@jonaudio Right. But for me, the key was the sandbox mode, which allows the program to work seamlessly and not crash.
Technically you can make a multiband compressor in bitwig using the multiband fx3 container.
he’s talking about a linear phase crossover to avoid phase shift when doing multiband on the master and screwing stuff up.
@@Qubie1 But it's not linear. And I need a linear container for the master bus.
I just switched to bitwig for writing and creating and keeping reaper for mixing/mastering and for complex routing (unless I learn how to route with bitwig with the same flexibility that reaper offers)
This is my first week of really diving into bitiwg
that's a totally viable workflow, at the end of the day DAWs are tools, similar to synthesizers, its absolutely ok to use more than one to accomplish what we're working on.
The pre listen option for plug-ins alone gets me
Flstudio used to have that automation option. But it was gone in later version. So this is why I'm actually thinking about switching
Totally understandable. FLs automation can be somewhat strange at times
Nice video, you can still use FL Studio as VST inside Bitwig Studio to enjoy both sides
thats right!! Blew my mind when I figured that out
I ask myself for a long time: when comes Jon audio to Bitwig? This is with tons of modulators, awesome filtering and the grid of course your perfect fitting daw. So I would say. Welcome home Jon. 🖖
Haha yuuuuup! I'm home now 🏡🤙🤙
Does Bitwig has the dump score log function like FL Studio? And what about CPU performance vs FL Studio? These are very important points for me using FL Studio
I'm not sure if it can dump score log as I don't really use that feature. As far as cpu goes, it seems to me that it's really good on cpu.
No, it is one of the most asked features. So hopefully they add it quickly.
I am always tempted to get Bitwig because of The Grid which is unfortunately available only with Bitwig Studio, the most expensive version. But one day...
One day indeed! It's a lot of fun!
I love Bitwig. My only gripe with it is the MIDI editor is very bare bones compared to others and it is missing some helpful arrangement tools like I can find in Studio One or Waveform or even Luna. I really wish they would have a scales highlight system like Ableton or Studio One.
I've seen that requested on multiple forums, so maybe it's something coming in future updates? That would be a really welcome addition
Jon, do you make more Videos about Bitwig?
yep, all my videos have been using bitwig since I switched
Are there any major downsides to Bitwig? Do you use it for everything? Trying to decide what tier to pay for in the current 50% off sale. I'm new to computers+music together
I use it for all my music making needs. I really like it
@@jonaudioI went all in, largely for the grid and stock plugins. It might be a little too advanced for me but I just rewatched this video, I had been so trained for years that F1 was worthless that I hadn't thought to try it
Reason 4: because you know how happy it makes me feel with you using Bitwig. Thank you for that. I feel seen. 😂😂😂😂
Haha you're welcome 🤙🤙Bitwig is amazing!!

Does bitwig have anything similar to FL's FPC muti velocity, and random sample triggers?
It's got an amazing drum sampler!
I'm a long-time FL studio user. But I've been very in Bit Wig.
Same here my man same here!
Welcome fellow man of culture 😅
Haha thank you 😂😂🤙🤙
bit late, but what made you pick bitwig over ableton?
For some reason I just didn't like how ableton looked and felt. Lots of people swear by it and it's a great daw, but wasn't the one for me
I'm still too comfortable with Reason and some of its awesome propriety instruments to make a switch, but Bitwig seems to have a lot more going for it in terms of modulation and presentation. Also Reason can be finicky to work with some midi generation VST's, making it a bit of a pain to use at all (defeating the point of the plugin lol) and it would also be nice to have a main DAW that's not subscription based I guess.
I use Reason in Bitwig, so I get the best of all worlds
@@TeslaOsiris Yeah could go for the Reason rack option, we'll see about that when the time (and money lol) is there.
Never used reason before. Def looks cool
@@jonaudio It was one of my first daws, I have tried it recently again. It's fun to play with it for a short while but quickly I found out that a lot of things that are really easy in bitwig are a lot of work in reason or plainly not possible.
How's the midi workflow with writing with a midi pencil?
I have both FL Studio and Bitwig and my only real gripe with Bitwig is it lacks the perpetual licence you get with FL. If it had that then it would be beyond awesome. Bitwig need to lower the price of the upgrades. I also own Cubase Elements and the upgrade price for that is a mere £25. Maybe Bitwig should focus on lowering the upgrade licence price and making their money with the add-on packs. We hobbyist musicians do not have the financial resources that pro studios have. Yes I know I can still use an old version.
A perpetual license would be really cool if they offered that! I think a lot of people would either switch to bitwig or at the very least but a copy

Agreed! There are still a few things I'd use FL and pro tools for, but for the main stuff I'm gonna stick with bitwig
@@jonaudio yes true
I’ve used Bitwig so I get it. But Ableton’s automation works exactly like this too.
can ableton do this on a project ... no (John did not even touch this part of the modulation ... ) , or even create your own devices in the grid...no ? not saying ableton is bad but it is missing some opportunities that make it become oldscool versus the new kid on the block
Fun fact: Bitwig was started by some ex-Ableton programmers. So the similarities aren’t a coincidence.
ask yourself why they left and started with innovation ? they were limited in ableton and now they are free like we 🙂@@TeslaOsiris
Ableton automation is def really cool, but the depths of what you can do im bitwig really won me over.
But so far bitwig has been pretty simple for me to find everything I'm looking for.
just trying out BItwig as FL Studio 2024 is just too unstable for me....all my plugins work great and launch faster in bitwig?
i havent noticed faster plugin load times on my end. hope you have a wonderful time in bitwig, its a great daw!
@@jonaudio Thank you it seems great so far
Every time I tryit it tells me it can't find ASIO, while I'm looking at my installed ASIO4ALL driver which Reaper works with just fine. There's nothing else displayed, no options, just CAN'T FIND ASIO and so I uninstall Bitwig. After doing this three times I realized this won't work; I'm slow, but I get there. I love Reaper anyway, I just wanted to see what Bitwig's like, but since it can't function for some reason on my computer, Reaper it is.
Hmm that's really odd, I didn't get that on my end 🤔
Same, just installed it and no issue. In the dashboard, go to settings, audio and set driver model on asio and then on device set it to asio4all
Does this daw have a auto bpm detection for midis drums.
Muy completo bitwig pero la interfaz sigue siendo muy angustiosa,y cada vez más.
WHY SHOULD I WASTE MY TIME TURNING BUTTONS AT BITWIG WHEN I CAN PRODUCE MUSIC INSTEAD?

been using fl studio for 10 years and had same issues as you, and if we be honest making a clip for an automation is weird and the "events" of fl studio feel weird too, happy i have transitionned to women and to bitwig
To find a tutorial about bitwig is harsh fl has many
Yeah there aren't nearly as many bitwig tutorials out there as there are for FL.
I hope to see more in the future. Bitwig is a great daw. I'm super happy I switched over
Cool daw , similar to Ableton...
Indeed. It was made by some former Ableton employees and definitely has some design similarities.
It’s like Ableton, but not shit 😂
Let's agree to disagree here - only thing similar are the people creating the daw
It's unfortunate that by two times a reply and a comment I made about how easy it is to find literally hundreds of Bitwig video tutorials - and how to find them - were completely censored.
We're they censored on this video or another video?
Reason number why I chose Bitwig, is Reason! What a dam toy, Bitwig was made by thinkers and music lovers. Do it!
So long sweet prince, it was fun while it lasted.
The times were great! But better times are on the horizon 🤙

not a silly complaint at all. the UI of any software is extremely important.
😂😂 I couldn't even run it with my extremely powerfull HP and win 11. First it did not create a short cut, than it didn't start. I've contacted support, they told me it must be win 11 not letting the program go trough, so I turned off firewall, virus protection, yet still couldn't start the damn thing and Bitwig support was no help in the end. that's a weird story i never heard before , it is in fact less cpu intensive versus ableton , did you download the mac version or what ? really very strange ...
