Thay-lo green. Because it was made with phthalo blue. My favorite blue when I did a lot of painting in high school. Your gorgeous work makes me want to paint again.
It's pronounced Thaylo, with the TH sounding like thought, and the vowel sounding like hey. You're absolutely awesome and my creative hero Kirsty! Keep on rocking out your genius talents.
those roses and frills are really pretty!! I have just recently started watching these nail tech videos, and I'm really down to the bone impressed with how inventive you are. I watched some of your extreme videos the other day and it reminded me of my super long nails with chains and other stuff I used to apply back in the late 80's. You guys now definitely have better supplies to use. Anyway you are a total blast to watch and you are a nail tech Goddess!!!!! lol
This reminds me of the Russian nail artist gel painting and watercolor class I took. This technique is amazing. Love the details and the fades are so pretty
Oh wow this is stunning, you make it look so easy too. Im off to give this a go, its so beautiful. I would never had attempted this if Id just seen a photo, but for you to show us every single stage I think I might actually be able to do this. Thankies hugs x
So helpful Kristy! The lil reference to pop culture in the video were an entertaining surprise. love the reference in the comments to Bob Ross! He'd love this! lol
So pretty. I am going to try this, but guaranteed it won't look as nice as this. I will definitely be practicing on my own for quite some time before I try this on a client LOL have a nice day thank you for the video 😊
ty, i already know the videos, i ment tiny little roses, flowers that are accurate for naildesign. donna duberry does great work, but its for cups or smth., that are more complexer paintings in my opinion
Wow Kirsty is so amazing!!! I'm doing the onestroke course from essential nails and am really struggling! I haven't even got past the practice sheet on module 1! Will definitely try again after watching this and take all of Kirsty's tips into account! Thanks for another fab tutorial!! 😍💅🏾 x
I honestly thought when you asked what the name of the green was, that it was gonna be Hooker's Green ( a real name for a shade of green in the artist world). Anyway I tend to pronounce Phthalo like this "They-low". I hope it helps and thank you for this video. I watch all your lovely art and technical skills with nails and learn fron you too to for my own nails. Keep being awesome. :)
" 'Thalo" is how it's pronounced, I believe; the "Ph" is silent. One of those very odd words we find in the dictionary. Kirsty, you make these one-stroke flowers look so easy to do, but I have a feeling it takes a few hours of practice to get them done perfectly. I really like watching your creativity come to life.
pigment green 7, non-flocculating green G, polychloro copper phthalocyanine, and C.I. 74260, is a synthetic green pigment from the group of phthalocyanine dyes, a complex of copper(II) with chlorinated phthalocyanine. It is a very soft green powder, insoluble in water.
Oh Kristy, you are more than a nail technician...you are a tru artist!!!
♡♥♡
These are probably my favorite nails that I've seen so far. They are beyond beautiful. These one stroke roses by themselves are my dream nails
Thay-lo green. Because it was made with phthalo blue. My favorite blue when I did a lot of painting in high school. Your gorgeous work makes me want to paint again.
I only know the pronunciation from watching Bob Ross 😂😂 it's like halo but with a "t" in front. Thalo
