- The first Chili pepper eating challenge of 2017 is at held Eastnor Castle Chilli Festival in Ledbury, England. With 10 brave contestants at the start we have to find a winner! This one was pretty hard-core with 13 rounds of increasing heat! Top tip watch round 10 as the drop like Domino’s!!!!

From the Dutch long chili, Bullet chili, Finger chilli, Thai Hot, Scotch Bonnet, Dorset Naga, Bhut Jolokia (Ghost Pepper), Carolina Reaper we just keep ramping it up on the Scoville scale.... Can they handle the heat?.........

Lol +DynaC4mite if you look at some of our first vids you will see us competing, this is how we got into this and now host and runs chilli eating comps, as we can stand there and say 'we've done this so we know what they are going through'.
We hate people who have never tried entering a chilli comp and then try and host one... lol we lead from the front... 🍻👍😉

I noticed that once they reach the red habanero on all chili contests, contestants quit left and right. Like two or three on just on the red habanero round. It’s like it exposes the weaker contestants.

Thank you +PearlJellyz , we do work hard and quick with this type of video as we normally hold the contest/film etc and edit& upload/release them all within 48hrs of the contest. As you can imagine we are alo away from home etc and di our best.

People stayed in so long in this contest before they started to fall.. that giant habanero slayed so many! Hottest I have eaten was a Scotch Bonnet, which tastes fantastic. Although if it were a challenge like this I guess I would fall around round 4/5 because the heat build up would get to me before I get to the 200k scoville level.

Hi peter zebot we call this one 'The Intimidator!' You'll see it in a few of our vids as we use this to determine a winner as sometimes we go through all the chillies we have for the comp, years ago we would've used a chilli extract however this can be a little dangerous and risky. Hope this helps answer your question?
PS The Intimidator is our secret weapon and is more psychological than heat!🔥👍😉

Hi B M, for the last few years the offical World Guiness Record holder is the Carolina Reaper measuring an average of 1,569,300 Scoville Heat Units and one pod was measured at 2.2 million.
There are chilli growers out there that may be growing hotter and have applied for a new record but as of today it still stands at the Carolina Reaper.

Due to the time of year we where unable to get fresh ones, when they are dried it's only the moisture (water) that gone, the heat is still in the chilli.

Damn that habanero took a lot of prisoners! I wish there were another way to end a draw besides having a speed eating round, I think that's a very different type of challenge than enduring the heat.

Yep there certainly is +Jack Smith as you in this comp we have annotated the Scoville Heat Units ( SHU ) for each round. There are many more chillies that are hotter than the Ghost Pepper ie Trinidad Moruga Scorpion, 7 Pot Habanero etc etc.

Another case of people dropping out after seeing one of their competition drop out. Is it just me noticing this? Why do people do that? - you'd think they'd realize that when someone drops out, the ones who remain are closer to victory~!
Yep we always see it as no one wants to be the first out, then suddenly you get the ripple effect, always very entertaining.👍😁
