Awe this is sad. Will you both also react to Jessie Howard and his song the little boy and the preacher man. Another sad one but it’s pretty new and really good too

It is REAL, to Martina!! Martina’s sister murdered her 7 year old daughter (Martina’s niece) 😅 Abuse happens all the time to children but other who recognize it DONT’T report it! So very sad 😢 The boy is her guardian angel :)

This song was actually a true story that McBride wrote about her niece. McBrides’s sister abused the daughter and ended up killing her. The little boy is a guardian angel who died at the hands of someone and he guides her to heaven where other children who died from abuse are waiting. This was a powerful song. Thank you for your reaction!

It was unrelated, she did have something similar happen in her family, but this song is not related. Nor did she write it. It was written by Julian Williams, Stephanie Bentley and Rob Crosby. 😉

Not actually true...big rumor that went around

Hard to be about her niece when she wasn’t even born when Bentley started writing the lyrics. It was finished in 1997.
Her niece is alive and well as is her successful businesswoman sister.

This song could have been written about Judith Barsi, a child actress in the 1980's. From 1983-1988 She was on a lot of commercials and tv show appearances. She was the most tiny beautiful little angel, but shes best known for her voice work (dinosaur named "Ducky" in the first "Land Before Time " movie and the little girl in "All Dogs Go to Heaven")
Unfortunately, her home life was miserable with her drunk father terrorizing her and her mother, severe physical and emotional abuse. In 1988 Judith was 10 when her dad shot her and her mom. 2 days later he set their bodies and the house on fire tgen shit himself
The most tragic part was that the abuse was a pretty open secret. CPS even got involved. The father told his friends hundreds of times that he wanted to kill them.

I meant he SHOT himself after setting everything on fire .
Judith's grave says "Our Concrete Angel.. yep yep yep!"
Her and her mom died 1988 but didnt actually have headstones until many years later, after this song came out. "Yep, Yep Yep" was the dinosaur ducky's catchphrase when she did the voice for "The Land Before Time"

Why do you insist on ruining the story by constantly putting in spoilers. You take away the shock value. This could have been a great reaction and instead it was just you are bitching and spoiling it. Learn to bite your tongue. The people that made the video and the song, chose to reveal it in the time they did for a reason. They are artists and professionals, and they knew when it was best to say and show things, they could have just started at the cemetery with the way you ruined it. Telling about things that will happen and why takes away from the artistry as well as the constant interruptions. How about next time letting the professional artists tell the story, the way THEY think it should be told and with THIER timing. This is the absolute worst reaction to this video I have ever seen because you just can't keep it to yourself for 3 freaking minutes.

Calm down, bro. Get a grip on your anger issues, will ya? 🙄There's still no need for you to act like a subhuman about it who's looking for your own satisfaction of entertainment. At least they were both touched, & have a deep care about its important platform that's rarely ever talked about. That alone is all that matters to most people anyways, so judge them not lest you be judged in return
