WHY can we not just believe in God's Word and The Holy Bible. One planet and one man and one women. Billions of dollars are wasted for the hope there is no God.

I dont think thats why the exploration of space and the creation of satelites that power gps and tv and connect facebook etc and climate monitoring etc and discovering our universe is taking place. Sure Human kind does waste a lot of its time doing daft and dangerous things. but going into space is not IF DONE WITH CARE one of those daft things. it just that humans tend to mess everything they do up in some way or other when it comes to politics, religious fighting, war, hunger, economics, and knowing how to look after people, nations the environment and animals, resources you name it..

I agree with you, why don't people believe in sacred scripture anymore, in three of the psalms, the psalmist states the earth has been established and cannot be moved, now everyone says it's figurative, they better re read them. The Catholic Churches magisterium is that the first 11 chapters of Genesis is actual history. So to all those who don't believe sacred scripture please tell me where is the water above the firmament or is it space in continuum. When Almighty God asked Job has he measured the length and breadth of the earth not the circumference, he also asked if Job was present when he set the cornerstone and where he fixed the foundations, those are literal not figurative. I personally believe God Almighty not NASA, there is a delusion going on, people are so desperate to believe something else. Like ancient aliens, all those unexplained sites are mostly pre flood not aliens, there is a lie. Why did America stop landing on the moon. If you believe they landed because of the footage you might as well believe Star Trek or Star Wars. There are so many questions but shouldn't we rather put our trust in our Lord and no I can't answer them, Job couldn't are you gonna say you can, isn't that being a little prideful. Trust in our Lady and our Lord, there is no guile and everything is hid in plain sight. Last thing consider this, no where can anyone reproduce anything like the ocean curving around a ball, no where, waters natural property is to go downhill, always finds a level and takes the easiest path, have you ever seen water stick to a wet tennis ball. In a cup it's flat, in a pond it's flat, in a pool it's flat, in a dam it's flat but the ocean bends and covers 70% of the earth. Interesting that the earth will be our Lords footstool.
God bless you all, believe him. 2 Thessalonians 2 verse 10, don't believe the lies of modern man.

Thank you for this interesting video. I agree.
Just in simple words, I believe that The Bible never says anything that we should seek for life in other planets. No, God established this planet for us to live on as our only home, and to take care of it and He gave us the Ten Commandments, our doctrine of our church etc.etc.
That money they waste in that stuff could help a lot of hunger and horrible things happening in our planet due to ungrateful ambitious curious people, also other abnormal laws against Gods creation, something is not right.
I am aware that there are many good people. working hard to help their bretheren in need. God Bless them and illuminate them in their mission and all of us as well. Time is short.

The word "planet" is not found in the bible. Anywhere.

Neither is the word "Purgatory" or "Trinity", yet we as Catholics believe in Purgatory and God as a Trinity of persons. Just because the Bible does not explicitly refer to something by name does not mean it doesn't exist.

Why not think God created life on other worlds? The Bible is not a science textbook and we should not expect our lord to reveal all the secrets of creation to us beyond what is necessary for our salvation. Therefore it seems perfectly reasonable God could have created life on other worlds, maybe even intelligent life. And if so seems they would be redeemed by the cross as well. Or perhaps there exist another intelligent species somewhere who has not fallen. Or maybe even one in which God provides some sort of test like that of the angles in order to determine which are among his elect. Also let's not forget that many planets far beyond our solar system seem to contain earth like conditions. Therefore as a church it seems we have to at least consider the possibility of God creating other life. If I am not mistaken there have been bishops from Rome saying that if aliens exist they can be baptized. Now that is a pretty wild idea. And I'm not saying there are aliens, but we should at least be open to the possibility, why limit God's creativity?

You say God would not reveal all the secrets beyond what is necessary. Isn't it becoming necessary due to man's searching? Isn't man opening up the need to know? If Man explores the areas where there could be other life, then it will effect all of mankind. If there were life on other planets and we could get there or they could get here, then it is necessary for us to know because that life would change our lives. Good thing there isn't.

If you describe Heaven and Hell as other planets, then yes, there are angels and devils and other post-mortal humans as lives (spirits). But the question is asking closer to earthly life, then no matter what, I believe the whole story and mysteries were lies that made up and brought up by anti-Christ.

God created the universe and everything thing in it... A soul is the image of the father and not the actual vessel (body)

The Earth is all the more gloriously made by God if the rest of the universe is void. That would also make the Earth, where Jesus, the God-Man was born once and once only, who had His life, death and resurrection here and here alone, and who continues to reside within all the tabernacles of the Earth....the center of the universe. And, to which all knees shall bow. St Augustine says; a creature who has a rational sense can be a candidate for salvation eternal. No other! Also, satan was allowed to be Lord of the World and all of nature which must include the realm in the air and perhaps beyond since everything 'out there' is a part of nature. Then, any appearances there can be an event designed and enabled by satan to dupe the unwitting. The devil can super-manipulate nature in a way that may appear to be supernatural... while it is not. We can only understand natural mystery when God allows it let alone supernatural mysteries, of which, satan is totally deprived forevermore.

You guys really need to Google what the pope is said on these sort of things before you start putting out there all this doubt. If there are intelligent being smart enough to get here they would also be children of God. If you denied that then you actually deny what God is.

The point is that these intelligent creatures, having immortal souls with an eternal destiny, would not be children of Adam. Thus they would have no relation to Adam's Original Sin or the Redemption of Jesus Christ. This is where Revelation, and the Christian doctrine of the Church Triumphant as the Mystical Body of Christ, is contradicted by such a notion.

Only Earth, has life of man, as God made it. Mormons believe that there are other planets that have life. That there other gods, and will become gods and women goddess. The male god will have several women goddess and have many spiritual babies.

(typos edited )Really SERIOUSLY? Nowhere in the bible does it say "There is no life on other planets" It doesn't say there is either. It did say that God created this planet and the heavens and the waters and light and seperated the light from the dark ..etc and created life on earth: Nowhere was another planet mentioned. Lack of a mention niether proves or disproves the existance of other planets or life. It just means it wasnt mentioned. After all the bible was and is primaraly for religious purposes explaining religious teachings so you would not expect it to have mentioned other planets in an era before space travel it would not have been neccessary to do so. :-) God bless you.

God never used the word planet. He doesn't call this earth a planet. He never says there is space. He speaks of Heaven and Earth, the Firmament, stars, sun and moon. Never planets or outer space. Read Genesis again.

Your generalization about people who believe in flying saucers don't believe in Fatima is a logical fallacy. Why could God not make life on other planets? You cannot so limit him.
