He's not here to compete but to collaborate. He doesn't care, he once asked Lay Yixing to show krumping, now he's learning from a contentant. For me, he respect diversity in dancing and taking the most out of this program for personal leverage, yet keeping it low-key. He mean it when he said he's here to make new friends and to learn. This program is getting more interesting. Looking forward to Ep6.
when other captains are scratching their heads on how to persuade the dancers to join their teams, Yibo is mingling and learning from them....he knows the best way to gain respect from the dancers is to show them his passion and skills, not just talk (which he is not good at anyways lol!). Two birds one stone, have to say, he's a very clever young man;D
Others talk the talk, they also walk the walk. Wang Yibo will learn more to dance the dance. Actions speak louder than...
He is very good at talking, he is precise and to the point, what he doesn't do is produce hot air or lament over nothing, he says what he wants and needs to. Wish there more of his sort.

They are captains, but not 'mentors' in Chinese (like in other competition shows)...the production team was very careful to be respectful of the dancers.
I usually dont like chinese people coz half the countrys worth of ppl is gay but i like this guy. Gay as in=mean

For Wang YiBo to seek them out is a pretty big deal because he is quite shy but I guess when it comes to dance, he is more comfortable to approach people. I was watching a video where it said that he probably didn't get as many towels at the start because of his idol status but soon the dancers realised he was an OG battle dancer, & have much more respect for him now. Hope he wins!!

I love how he's interacting and learning with the dancers off screen. He really loves dancing and he's so humble. 💚🥺 He always practice dancing whenever he has the time. I guess this is why he is always wearing loose clothes in SDCS3 than wearing OOTD-like shirts. I mean compared to other captains, he's wearing the most comfortable clothes so he could practice and dance when they're not filming 😊

and in spite of that, yibo looks effortlessly the most stylish. most street-trendy and on-point for this show!

In here, unlike those other captains who would dress up(?) more for the show like an attire chosen by a stylist or something, he chooses comfy clothes. idk how to explain it but yeah lol I like to see him being comfortable on shows.

@@ddeonushin i think it boils down to an innate sense of style. as i said he is stylish without trying. it's not just because he is blessed with good-looks with no bad angles and is a graceful dancer and model with an atheletic gait. the other captains are goodlooking and are great dancers and athletes too - wang jiaer, i think is a world-class fencer. yibo just has impeccable taste and instinct. he doesn't go wrong even with matching colour-schemes [even when they seem to clash], funky outfits and accessories. whatever yibo puts on, he comes out an eye-candy or a dish. that's probably why, as you said, he doesn't HAVE to "dress up for a show" - our boy is always a show, even in uncle wang's outfits. 😁😍
Wahh!! I have so much respect for yibo now. He is mingling with all the dancers and genuinely learning moves inorder to grow further and the look on his face when he finally gets the move is so satisfying 💜

I think he will eventually get some of the best dancers on his team because they will see that though he's one of the biggest young stars in China right now, he is a great dancer, keen to learn and most importantly, respects and values who they are and what they do since he started out a street dancer.
