Thank you so much!!! Im going to try to do this tomorrow. You've explained it simply. Thank you from someone who has a hard time following most instructions lol
I meant to say zane this is the best way i have seen so far on hanging plates ,i don,'t want to put them on shelves as i am trying to save money and just display plates.Brenda i am in scotland
Fantastic!!! You saved me with this video. So glad you put this out there and grateful for how easy it was the find a solution. I’m painting a bunch antique plates and will be selling them an Artist pop up shop. I was debating if I should purchase little stands or have them hanging. Definitely hanging them now that I’ve seen your video. Thank you.
I'm so glad I found this video, only wish I had found it sooner. I tried a few things that didn't last and I lost a few of my favorite plates that fell off the wall! Definitely trying this!
Just purchased some plates for my kitchen wall, but wasnt trusting the reviews on the plate adhesive and hangers. I was stuck on how to hang them until i watched this. Thank you!
Thank you so much Zane, I purchase 3 gold platters @a local pawn shop, I now can use them on my wall.. I felt a connection to you, why- I have a two year old grandson and his name is Zane-I love him and you too! TFS!🫶🏾
It’s always a best idea to watch couple of videos before heading to store or ordering I always do so, thanks I will definitely try this I wanted something seamless look
I will try this idea as I have a wall space I would like to hang old platters, dishes from. The thrift store near me always has the most beautiful plates. Thank you for your time sharing this idea ❤️
Wow, you have the best advise, now I can hang plates with confidence tey won't crash to the floor - how exciting! Thank you also for taking the time for the close up photo of the D rings and glue, that was very helpful! You're the best, thanks for the inspiration1
Thank you for this educational video. I am so grateful that you shared your plate-hanging technique. I am also glad to see you using hanging plates as contemporary decor...from Grandma Bunny in Phoenix.
Very useful as i was just thinking of buying the adhesive plate backers, but this is a much simplier and cheaper option avaible from most hardware stores. Thanks for the video.
I love this idea! I have several plate walls and like you I prefer the cleaner look of not seeing a plate hanger. I made the mistake of purchasing some peel and stick plate hangers from amazon that are similar to this and I was so thrilled with how they worked…..until about 2 days later when in the middle of the night I had several of my blue and white transfer ware plates crash to the floor and shatter!! I had thought about using the D-rings before but was so afraid of repeating my mistake. Now I fell confident to try them out! Thanks so much for the tip!!
Thank you for your video,so glad that I did a search and found your video. I've tried to hang plates without the plate hangers without success. I'm wondering if the gorilla glue would work on sterling/tin trays, plates?
Awesome tip! Do you think it would stick as well to the back of ceramic tiles. They are kinda that terracotta feel…not smooth like the glazed front…???
Thanks for this very useful information for both the D rings and the Gorilla glue. Will definitely remember this idea. As always I want to thank you, 😀👍❤️
Thanks for sharing...good to know! I have a gallery plate wall in my side enclosed porch. There was a very small piece that was too small for a hanger so I super glued a similar thing to it. It lasted several years, but eventually came apart, fell & broke! 😢. Luckily I had a little vintage plaque that fit the spot nicely, so I wasn’t too sad, but I did prefer what I had put there originally. I will definitely get some gorilla glue! 😊👌💕
Will it come off if you wanted to come off so that you could use the plate or platter or create a different look with the plates and the platter I would like to know if you need the plate can you pop off the ringer is that like seriously permanent
Thanks for this amazing video, it is great. Just one question, I read the white gorilla glue pen reviews and many people claim that you need to put some water on the spot to be glued, in order to make the glue work. Did you do that?
Thanks for showing us how to do this! I once tried hanging plates with those metal holders, but I did not like the look and I thought they were very hard to stretch across the back of the plate.
I have decorative plates with a textured painted back. Do you think this would work? I have been searching for a couple of years to find something that could securely attach to a textured back without just pulling the paint/glaze off and crashing to the ground.
Thank you so much! This has got to be the simplest and most secure method I've seen for hanging plates.
excellent, simple, affordable recommendations, thank you!!!
Beautiful Display. ❤ Thank You for this video
Brilliant! Thank you for solving my dilemma for me!

Thank you. What a great idea and glue choice also. “D” rings galore on my list.

Can you use this method for metal trays?
Thanks for this amazing video, it is great.
Just one question, I read the white gorilla glue pen reviews and many people claim that you need to put some water on the spot to be glued, in order to make the glue work.
Did you do that?

😮ok Zane. Thanks. Mil🙂💜👍🏽

Thanks for showing us how to do this! I once tried hanging plates with those metal holders, but I did not like the look and I thought they were very hard to stretch across the back of the plate.
I truly appreciate your straight-to-the-point response! I'm gonna hang some plates!🌷
So you used nails to hang them up on the wall? I can’t find a video to show me how to actually hang it.
I have an 18 in pottery/clay platter my sister made, will it work, I could use two?? Fear store wall units will break.
I have decorative plates with a textured painted back. Do you think this would work? I have been searching for a couple of years to find something that could securely attach to a textured back without just pulling the paint/glaze off and crashing to the ground.
Hi Zane, this video is grt ! It's been two yrs since the video . Can I ask you how the glue is lasting on the plates ?? Thanks in advance ❤️
