I personally liked the IGP, Akuffo Dampare’s matured professional approach to the problem on the ground during the by-election in the Assin-North Constituency. I’m, however, disappointed with how he often turns a blind eye on certain inflammatory statements made by some politicians and party supporters. Why can’t the IGP act to ensure that the police service is in control of its job of maintaining law and order in the country.

In 2016 the NPP pressed for a forensic audit and got it done after Bawumia and the NPP claimed the voters register had become bloated with about 7,000 voters from our neighbour on our eastern board, Togo. Why is Jean Mensah’s EC refusing to allow the same process or procedure of forensic audit of the current voters register for the impending 7th December, 2024 elections?.
