7:00 theres an entire group of people (traders) who dedicate most of their time playing specifically towards obtaining the best most expensive hats in the game and making cool loadouts with them. its super fun to just put cosmetics together in ways that look cool. theres hats, jackets, pants, and a ton of smaller things like glasses, badges, or even pets that sit on your shoulder
11:14 it simply blocks a single backstab while also alerting you with the loud electric sound. However it doesnt regenerate until you respawn or visit the ressupply locker. used to main sniper for a while and landing these headshots is indeed satisfying. and although the default sniper rifle is probably the best option due to it's consistency some other sniper rifles have quite fun gimmicks like machina's full charge piercing shots for example.
@@depressedkermit3752 I was playing tf2 while watching this lol. tested it. looking at the wiki, it says that the recharging was added in Jungle Inferno part 1.
I love this reaction content because it’s just them making faces in the corner and it’s the best. I know it’s not adding anything to the video it’s just so good
8:20 An explanation of why you don't see the frame the shot is on the head: Lazy records at 60fps, but the game does it's calculations at 64fps, so unless you play and record at that speed, you won't get all the frames.
Sometimes people can be stupid for things like a 10,000 hour sniper main to be accuse for an aimbot/cheater but sometimes good players know who’s who either a cheater or an actual sniper main
At this point, high level TF2 is a cosmetics show first and hero based shooter second. A golden frying pan, which is a melee weapon that can be used by any class minus spy and engineer, is just a recolored basic melee, goes for a small house mortage payment on the Steam marketplace.
I can't play sniper to save my life, but there is a playstyle of his that even i enjoy to play from time to time, known as the Lucksman Playstyle. This playstyle involves replacing snipers sniper rifle with a bow known as the Huntsman and just having fun firing off arrows into the distance, The arrow hitbox sometimes feels a bit too wacky and i swear i get headshots i didn't deserve by using it, hence the community nickname of the "lucksman".
You should watch The Winglet's TF2 SFM movies, the oldest first then the recent ones (Except The red, The blu, The ugly reuploaded and youtube safe editions, watch Directors cut version, the reason for that is Age restrictions)
I have a lot of time spent on sniper. I wouldn't say I am the most amazing, but it's not uncommon to have people cry out that I am hacking if I am on a good day. Unfortunately with the ongoing bot crisis, people calling you a hacker just because they're a bit peeved you've dinked them a few times leads to people on the server getting a little kick-happy. The razorback is an interesting little item. When new weapons were first being introduced into the game they pitted the sniper and spy against one another. The two are intrinsically linked as far as matchups go. When a sniper is decimating your team from afar, logic dictates you send the guy he'll never see coming. People overall have gotten much better at the game now and while spy can do some damage to unaware snipers perpetually aiming down their scope it's not as easy as it once was. Still, the Razorback is one of the items Valve gave Sniper to counter this. It replaces your secondary so the tradeoff is you have a little less utility in exchange for feeling safer from being one shot by surprise. If a spy does stab it then it breaks the shield. The shield has a large battery attached to it and so the function seems to be that by stabbing through it the Spy gets a large jolt to the arm. It doesn't stun the spy outright, you can still move about but it does render his arm useless for a moment leaving him unable to change weapons or try to stab again for a second or so. Sniper's damage thresholds are kind of bonkers. By scoping in his rifle begins a charge. The higher the charge when he fires the more damage his shot will do overall. That seems like a daunting thing to keep track of but in application simply by scoping in for a fraction of a second his headshot will do enough damage to kill scouts, spies, medics, engineers, and other snipers instantly. Give it a second or so more and he can delete pyros and demomen, along with soldiers. Heavy is the beefiest of the classes, and with a little more charge you can take him out provided he isn't overhealed from a medic. The minimum a scoped shot will do as a headshot is 150 damage, and most of the classes in the game have 150 or less HP. If a target has overhealing he may need to aim a bit longer down the scope but other than spy he's the only class in the game that can eliminate anyone in the game with one shot. Of course while scoped in your movement speed is reduced, you cannot jump without unscoping, and your vision is narrowed leaving you open to being flanked or taken out by a sniper that is perhaps a little quicker than you, or is coming from an off angle. My TF2 career began playing on a modded map of 2 Fort. A classic map within the game. The people on the server made it a point not to capture the flag in favor of making the game into a TFM sort of ordeal. There were a lot of good snipers who played there, and after getting sick and tired of being shot by them I picked up sniper and started trying to fight back. I got good at it through the repitition and failure, and that's the most important thing to remember when learning the class. You are gonna suck. Even after thousands of hours of play and learning, you're eventually going to run into someone who makes you feel like you suck all over again. Just ignore them, and take out the medic and everything will be alright.

Incorrect actually. the razorback was changed to regenerate around every 30 seconds or so.
