- This video is made in Microsoft Train Simulator featuring Southern Pacific's famous Daylight train running along the California Coast Line. Its been a few years since I made a train sim video and thought it would be nice to make one again. Music to first song is a little fast for unknown reasons. Please leave feedback and tell me what you think. Especially if I should re-upload and fix the music. Trains and Route featured in this video can be downloaded for free at www.train-sim.com. Have questions on how to add them? Well read the readmes and how to tutorials on the website.

This is my favorite train no matter what
Wish they had this version of the Daylight in TS2014. More realistic than the one they have now.
Man I remember this when it first came out. LJL
Although the simulator itself is that old, its still very popular. Both the engine and route were both made only last year in 2009!
Hey, I noticed there are sleeper cars on the train.
I’m no Southern Pacific expert, but I’m pretty sure the Daylight didn’t use sleepers.
Nice Video
I think so. I saw a release of the SLO station on the Trainsim.com website, read the readme and said watch for it's release on the near future.
Wow 9 years ago
these beutiful southern pacific daylights run between san fransico to los angeles but today 4449's excursion is oregon
i hope 4449 is gonna be stream lined again and make an excursion from san francisco to los angeles
@BWyrick If you read the credits it says. But its called Surfliner and can be downloaded for free at trainsim.com.
@cbolanz1 Yes. The download features the engine, the auxiliary water tender, and two regular tenders. One with the Southern Pacific Lines letters in the red stripe as seen in its current condition and "as built" condition, the other is the big Southern Pacific lettering in the orange stripe as seen in 4449's early excursion years.
that's cool, but what IS the download link?
Andrew Foley they use small lettering too
@traintownofcowee Thanks, I thought so, but I've seen evidence of a Coast Line route in the works.
@BWyrick Awesome.
@mrtrainboy97 Sorry man I cant make instructional videos. Simply dont know how and your problem. I just downloaded the engine and cars, route (which thats a complex job), and use the activity editor which came with the game.
@BWyrick A real coastline route? You mean SP's from L.A. to San Fran?
this is the train simulator version cause u made one with the real steel
@traintownofcowee where is the activity editor in the game
0:11 about the tender. Do you have the other one? And i don't mean the water tender but you know the one it used when it first got resotred.
cbolanz1 u mean big lettering cause southern pacific use small letering too when daylights were in service

Is this an update or is it just a newer version?
How do you freeze the camera like that.
what passenger cars did you use?

ah i get it.
good vid but but it needs no music
What route?
@thelastprimerules

Nice video.
