The Sabra and Shatila massacre occurred in September 1982, in Beirut, Lebanon, which was then occupied by Israel. This massacre was carried out by Lebanese Maronite militias against Palestinian refugees in the Sabra and Shatila refugee camps. Ironically this incident was sponsored by Israel. What's the story?
