IMO Malignance is a good item just for the ultimate haste alone on a lot of champions. You don't need to have a crazy use of the pool passive for it to be a good purchase.
I like buying it on LB if you also take Ultimate Hunter. It's not very good damage-wise, and you're probably better off going for one shotting, but it's probably decent if you're against tanks or bruisers you can kite.
It's 20 haste and with the haste system instead of cool down reduction you don't even get the 20% and it has crazy diminishing returns. Not that good like people think. Have 12.5 cool down on shrooms instead of 13 doesn't change much compared to more damage.
The food thing abouh it is the mr shred, which only happens AFTER being hit mith an ultimate ability, which means it's really inefficient on champions that use ult as a finisher, or a single hit ult.
Random thought for Jhin in the new season, even ignoring the Tiamat exploit maybe Sundered Sky is good on lethality Jhin, it lets him get a crit on his first shot on a champ regardless of not building crit, it’s not as strong as 4th shot but it could be pretty good when using sundered followed by 4th shot.
Nautilus can be seen on the mini map bot lane around 19:09 and steps on his first shroom - causing Liandry's to start ticking. It ticks for a full 20 seconds as he steps on 3 or 4 shrooms and eventually dies xD
Your video makes me want to try building Malignance into Experimental Hexplate. I know that's mixing AD and AP, but you'll get 50 Ultimate Haste with your first two items, attack speed and movespeed each time you throw a shroom. That's serious splitpushing power. Make third and forth items Liandries for the burn, Hullbreaker for resistances and AD. Add the minion passive and you can draw a lot of map pressure... Its a weird mix build, but I'll try it.
The play at 6:00 shows why you do need an understanding of other champs to play viego. The whole "just dump your abilities and ult reset" is how you feed on that champion. Pre-6 you can't just ult reset, and knowing how to get the most out of every champ's kit is what separates the good viego players from the ones who are just ok.
anyone that plays viego isn't a good player he is disgustingly broken and if u know a bit of how to play the game he destroys thats why when people climb with him u notice they are bad but the champ carried them :/

Probably an ad assasian like zed or qiyana mid would be a good pick because you will burst them (because they won't probs build armor if you are the only ad champ). Any ad assasian would be my recom
yeah the poison champs are silly right now. Also, annoys me when i see players good enough to do it forget to. Use ur passive against melee champs, since you can predict when they will cs. Gets you like double the autos on trades early. You missed at LEAST one push out or kill op.

For AP twitch deathcap is mathematically more dmg per gold and is a better second item. Shadow flame is the best third item though.
