Manor r/c mode car club.
My Cactus rear tyres looked quite worn so I opted to try some Proline Prism Z4 tyres on the rear with the Schumacher Splinter tyres I ran last week. Straight away the car was pushing a lot. I turned up my steering lock in an attempt to bring the balance back, but it was still hard work. I managed 3rd in round surprisingly!
Q2 I tried the worn out cactus tyres. It was insanely loose on the rear.
Q3 I fitted the Prisms again, but this time used some new Schumacher Fusion slim tyres on the front. The car was good, but the balance was slightly off.
Q4 I adjusted the rear shock tower mounting point and got it going well resulting in 3rd in round again. 2x 3's so lined up 5th.
The final was made hard from my less than optimal start dropping down to last on the opening lap, but I got my head down and got onto the back of Rob until he made an error and I ended up 4th. Not too shabby.
