The complexity discussion is such a leverage in providing service, by eating the complexity as business owners we are, first of all, providing extra value to the consumer (just making the product acessible for purchase is massive for some people) and we are beating a large swat of the competition who doesn't want to put in the work of resolving such complexity.
I'm selling from Portugal to UK, Germany, France and Spain. The VAT issue is definitely real but doeable. Its like anything amazon , you need to put the reps in and learn it, studiously I might add, and it gets simple once you get the habg of it
Hey Adam, good point. In general, if you purchase goods in Europe, they have already several languages written on it. On the other side, I already sold many products which were missing certain translations and literally nobody complains. Officially speaking, you would need to make sure that products you sell in Europe have the product information in the language of the country on it, you are selling it to.
