- Today we install an adapter on our Toyota gear driven transfer case to a 4 speed A340 Toyota automatic transmission. This is a key step in the Ton'dRunner build! Thanks for watching!! Don't forget to like, comment, and subscribe!!
Great info in this. Thank you.
Thanks for doing this, Do you know it the gear drive t case will bolt to the stock t case that's in the first gen tundra/sequoia? Subbed
That I do not know. If I were to guess I would say no
What about the tail shaft speed sensor/pickup? It looks like you have to leave it out ?
It still uses the sensor all the parts bolt on after it, the tail housing was only removed to remove that bearing then it was put back on
Does this adaptor work on a a340 that comes with Toyota 1uz ?
Yes, that’s what this is going in.
Sorry is it the transmission a 2wd tranny or 4wd?
Thank you for making this video I was pulling my hair out trying to put a 5vz with auto into my 84 xtra cab that has a passenger side transfer case this adapter allows you to put a RF1A out of my 4 cyl and solves the problem 👍
