Feeder, Curing Tower & Stacker in Plywood Panel Repair Line

Con-Vey designed, engineered, and manufactured this automated #materialhandling system that's part of a Plywood Panel Repair Line we created with Argos Solutions.
We set up the equipment in separate groups for in-house shop testing and quality assurance before we shipped it out to our customers in Montana.
This test group included:
1. Feeder hoist and accumulator
2. Curing tower with infeed and outfeed beltway
3. Swing arm stacker with hoist and accumulator
4. Outfeed corner transfer conveyor
The plywood panels come into the Feeder as a unit from the Barrel Turner ( • Barrel Turner System f... ) and get lifted up to what will be the Vacuum Belt Conveyor ( • Vacuum Belt Conveyor f... ) where the panels will be repaired with putty. Once filled, the panels will enter into the Curing Tower so the putty can set. The Curing Tower's height is designed specifically so that the putty has the necessary time to cure and set before being stacked into units. When the panel reaches the bottom of the Curing Tower, it is ready to go into the Swing Arm Stacker and onto the Outfeed Corner Transfer Conveyor.
