They didn't delay anything, it had to be delayed. Samsung didn't have as many 120Hz LTPO panels on their hands in 2020 as they do now. The only phones that had LTPO panels at that time were the Galaxy Note20 Ultra and Z Fold3, neither of which are selling in volumes anywhere near close to that of any iPhone model by itself.

*When thermal throttling why does it go down from 120fps straight to 60fps? Or does it work like this: you set a game to 120fps the screen will stay at a locked 120hz regardless if the game is dropping frames below 120fps? Because of V-sync, the framerate is locked to the screen refresh and fractions. Of course a variable refresh is possible few would bother to spend resources to reprogram V-sync when a serviceable one exists. As someone who has a mini Apple-store at home... What a disappointing and misleading mess this year's releases have been. The lag is never-ending: Genshin runs horribly on M1 and the new iPhones throttle too, PUBG has practically zero graphical improvements over models from several years ago, Catalyst Black lags too... the list just goes on and on. To be fair though, this is partially on developers too - even big companies with plenty of possibilities simply don't care about optimization.
To be fair the M1 iPads are running genshin at 1600p which is ridiculous for something passively cooled. 4x the resolution of the iPhones which run it at 800p, and even more than androids which only manage 720p
@@bobjordan5597 They overestimated the workable resolution for M1, but the least they could do is get it to run on Medium res as smoothly as it does on Low now. Hopefully they actually do some work on that in 2.2.
It makes no sense to think the game would be able to run in best graphic settings in 120 fps. That would be crazy. The developers of the game should allow 120Hz only for lower graphic settings, e.g. maybe medium. They should make test as well. I think CODM for iPad (120hz) is doing this medium settings for Ultra FPS (90). So maybe wanting 120 would got down to low, if even possible. And having the device going down in FPS but do not seeing any frame drops or slow downs to prevent shutters is also a good job. So for me the UI settings of this game are misleading.

Lowering graphics to get to 120fps has been the standard procedure across the PC, XSX and PS5. no matter HOW powerful a console is or PC is. Lower the graphics.
@@thorocomments just 8K? Run 16K on it😅. Because it's shitty Apple, not🍊🍌,🍇,😜😜😜
@@faisalrahman9236 How odd. Imagine even giving a fuck. Weirdo. Also the A15 can’t run anything thrown at it, is my point. Lowering the graphics will likely get him 120 FPS, just like on any other PC or console. Again. That’s how things work.
@@thorocomments What would be the Point then? This is a performance test and it's supposed to test the max performance of the device if he lowered the graphics and got 120Fps it wouldn't even make sense to test the game
Man atleast think before commenting 🤦
I knew it,it doesn't matter how powerful a15 is if thermals are bad
best revewer
I think is software management prevent it to reach 120 fps
Hopefully updates or next iPhone get 120 fps
put low settings and try again
Apple said there is a bug on 3rd party apps that they get 60hz(60fps) maybe is that the issue you are currently having?
Just simple because the perfomance chipset is very garbage...
@@hdhsusubehdysh63773 bruhh iOS is still a lot better than android who always throttle on pubgm Last zone after just One year, which is why most streamer, pro player, and competitive player use iPhone than Android cuz of not stable fps
@@PS-ub8st when isheep hardcore garbage talking🤣🤣🤣...ios still garbage and perfomance chip very2 garbage and very² bad🤣🤣🤣expecially when gaming is very2 garbage and frame drop (lagging) very bad..is true garbage smartphone product..
Lol iPhone 13 series is not optimized yet, but people talking about bad performance 🤣🤣🤣
@@hdhsusubehdysh63773 your probably another Android guy Who doesn't understand things, if it perform far worse, then why would pro players Use iPhone On competitive match?? Explaine that question
World of Tanks blitz also has 120hz graphic setting, I know it can be enabled on android phones, try and see if it'll work on the 13
I’ll take a look
It does eh?
@@arrowup8711 It does eh.
@@Hypern0va i downloaded the game and checked and that's a lie there isn't a 120fps option
@@_alexmuerto_ which part of "I know it can be enabled on android phones" did you not understand? As for apple products I know for certain that 120fps setting is available for the iPad Pro.
I don't think this case has anything to do with thermal throttling, I think it's solely the iOS 60-120Hz switching bug.
Yep i agree
Just show them the other half of the story.. show them how this game perform on android too.. after than you can judge this.. Because in cutscene and in menu etc it's only limited to 30 fps on android, so that can't even maintain the 60fps.. So why are you so proud of the 120Hz display if you doesn't even need just a 60Hz because of the weak performance on android?
@@MarcHaysD Unlikely, they just aren’t fast enough
But the graph will looks like the same.. because of the limited cutscene fps.. so only showing the one side of the story is not fair, only the cheap clickbait newbies do that..
this is related to The amount of energy consumed apple make it for more safe battery
Try certain music games like Arcaea which is the game supports 120fps.
Do mi11t pro
lol cod mob is already updated for 120 fps I played with a friend at work used her phone and the difference was day and night I pre ordered my device and for the first week yea cod mob was a lil glitchy I can still return my device but after the update I see no reason to all phone’s have bugs at launch I hate seeing android fans bash iPhone users. But it’s like hey I love all phones and feel others should too
Apple needs to update things
Yes another video
Nuu dont cry its fine
Is 120hz supported on Android?
Not only 120Hz but 165Hz too
Do u have a 120hz panel then it works! Or else what are you expecting! ?
@@brahmasthaandipramana7591 your not gonna get 165hz in game lol
Hahahaha yes it do, also 165hz
@@jared_tyson7133 maybe on UI but the game is not supported in 165. Even so it seems to be pretty obvious that mobile games right now are to only really be played at 60-90 range and 120 draws way too much power and eats battery and thermally throttles every phone known. You could actually tell the game he was playing at one point (pascal) was poorly optimized if you saw it go from 120 to 60 that was a vsync issue not the phone. Androids also are at 720p per say in genshin while genshin is rendering in higher resolution at 800p on iPhones.People need to learn either play at 60 and max settings or play at 120 and low settings. Personally 60 and med is the sweet spot allowing for smooth experience and battery longevity considering battery saver mode is a beast 😏.
What good is all that power if you can't use it. :-(
Please Gaming Test Poco X3 GT
