Thank you, Andrew Lincoln. We will miss the hell out of you, farewell Rick Grimes.
This video is supposed to be more of tearjerker than my usual work. The music is extremely sad, the scenes are slow and picked out carefully. I honestly think this is the first video I have not shown at least 1 kill. I haven’t used those fast transitions that are usually very present for the simple reason that it goes against the entire song.
The song “Knockin’ on Heaven’s Door” was requested, but since I didn’t know what version and I really like this one, I have decided to use the cover by RAIGN. This song was also featured in my all-time favourite episode of the show The 100 in the season 2 finale, Blood Must Have Blood. The song just has such a sad mystic feeling to it, I absolutely love it and I think it fits our beloved hero very well.
The next episode is supposedly the last episode Andrew Lincoln will ever do, and that makes us all extremely sad of course. Rick was personally my idol and I looked up to him, seeing Rick depart from the show is just heart-breaking. However, we can always comfort ourselves with the thought that Andrew Lincoln is still very much alive, a part of Rick Grimes will always live forward in him, and in a weird way it makes me feel better about everything. Hell there is still a chance Rick might not die at all, and Anne becomes useful after 3 seasons xD
I also would like to thank The Warleader Productions for hooking me up with some audio files, it are all files I have already obtained in the past, but because I re-use them I still feel like I should thank him, because the entire Carl and Rick segment and the start would not be possible if it wasn’t for Warleader. I never thought that I would actually cry over a television show, but I am.
This is absolutely beautiful! Rick and the others have all come so far. Andrew Lincoln is an incredible actor. I don't believe anyone else could have brought Rick Grimes to life for us as well as he has. I will truly miss both Andrew and Rick.
I will continue to watch the show until the very end, because Norman Reedus and the other actors are amazing. The Walking Dead is my favorite series of all time.
Sameee, Andrew made Rick Grimes the best TV character ever in my opinion.
Personally I don't know if I can keep watching after Rick is gone, I will try, but it will feel so empty for me.

@@Kekker i would advice you to continue. i have heard nothing but great things which was not the case the last 2 seasons. what keeps me watching mostly is negan and the upcoming whisperers because i really wanna fucking see ryan hurst kill it as beta and blow everybody away. great casting because my interest immediately got up hearing that. it will still be a great damn show man trust me just a hole in it but i feel overtime it will heal

Goddamn, this was just.....beautiful. I don't know any other way to describe it than beautiful. This tribute had such power behind it. The parallels between scenes, the music, the soft blue hue, everything about this tribute was perfect. Incredible job my friend, this was beyond impressive.

Rick's actions have taught me how to be a better person to the people around me and Carl's death put something very important into perspective for me, it made me realize the true message of the show for me.
No matter how important someone is to you, they won't be around forever, maybe not today maybe not tomorrow but nothing will change that.
So hold them close and fight for them in your life, no matter what it takes, even at the cost of your own soul, so long as you get to come home and see them again...

I’ve been watching this badass man survive the apocalypse for a large chunk of my life now. Feels like the end of an era now that he’s gone. Hard to believe.
Same, it sucks we are losing him on twd, but luckily we are getting 3 Rick Grimes movies.
This was really good. My favourite part of Rick is after he kills Shane he sort of becomes Shane and realises the world isn’t what it was before.

Soon as I saw the shot above ricks body on the rebar, I actually teared up a bit. Takes a few days for something like that to really set in that hes dying and hes really knocking on heavens door in this next episode, I hope they use this song for his exit.

@@Kekker whisperers are coming mate. again do not worry too much and andrew has said this show keeps getting bigger and better the whole season. we kinda owe it all to him in my opinion to keep watching atleast the whole first half and then judge. he made this show and now i am not gonna walk out on his hard work because he decided to be with his family. he is a damn legend but there are still characters and actors on there and coming in that have insane potential.

I agree, I do think Jon is gonna die, they promised a bittersweet ending. I'm guessing once the night king and his army is defeated Jon will suddenly collapse and start bleeding, everyone will be shocked and once they look at why he is bleeding they see that all his wounds from the season 5 finale are open again. Now that he has finished his mission of defending Westeros he is not needed anymore.

Ever since Andy left, the show has felt like there was something missing, something important, something needed.
And then it hits me, that missing link is Rick Grimes
Fucking amazing. The first few seconds even made me tear up with rick saying “It was all for you.” Idk why but that line always stuck with me after that episode. I definitely agree about rick being my idol. It more so has to do with Andrew Lincoln. He’s an amazing actor and the nicest guy. Btw I’m a huge fan of the 100 and I don’t recall this song being in the episode as well. But again thank you man you definitely earned a sub

I read in the synopsis for episode 6 it's gonna be a disappearance, but I don't want to go into spoiler territory, only what amc releases.
when ricks last episode came out I watched it and I knew what was going to happen.. I cried when he shot the explosive I thought the legend that I grew up watching had died. When this happened it felt like a family member close to me had died... there I was sitting in my bed crying my eyes out with it in my mind that he just died and when I saw that he was alive I stopped crying and started again with tears of joy.
