As a Indie/Rock head. I found you throug Ren. And apart from just enjoying the occasional rap song for it's melody and lyrics. I had no idea about the intricate referenes, triple meanings and the skill it takes to entwine these with relevence inside skilled cadances to a track. And even the choice of track having a say.
I watch these tracks on the channels they are released for pleasure and come to you KNOX HILL to be educated.
I have no doubt that top rappers/artists watch your breakdowns on their releases at some point. Including EM, and respect your knowledge and intellect.

This is my best @KnoxHill of this whole diss/beef. All this bullshit is Brodnax. Started after Tom dropped Fake Woke 1/21. Brodnax remixed track Been Woke 2/21 is a sneak diss.The whole time Brodnax is in the comments saying it's not a diss and sucking up to HOG and getting views and subs. Check the video for the sign that says "PORK BUTCHER" Tom never likes or comments on the remix. Tom drops No Guts NO Glory Mixtap on 10/21 with the track "Bite My Tongue". Fast forward to The Brave 2. Right before the release Brodnax drops "We on Fire." 9/23 Another sneak diss this time at Adam. The Brave 2 drops 10/23. Tom releases a bunch of new merch and as the AD for it does a surprise music video of "Bite My Tongue." Dissing you as I sell my merch. "Chess not Checkers" incase you didn't buy my mix tape. Lol. Adam then drops fight music letting Brodnex know he is talking shit. Brodnex goes and manipulates Church like the snake he is. They drop SUS. Then Church goes after Tom and HOG when Adam is who he has been "wronged" by. Adam reachs out to Church who is his brother. Adam then dropped "Shook Ones" which is like Brodnexs not a diss but is a diss track. Remember Brodnex "doesn't do diss tracks he takes you out when he sees you." "Stay Down". Adam "Say my name when you diss me, die like a man." The Peter piper scheme but longer and more complex aslo in "We on Fire" Adam calls him a snake for trying to pit him and Church against each other. Other references Adam brings up in Shook to Brodnax. Beard hanging out the ski mask, when Adam talks about having roots in hip hop he puts up his hands like Brodnax, Adam says you do everything but write a dope song. Seems like Brodnax does a lot of remixes Adam barley does any except this one. IMO this is definitely a diss and Tom is a grandmaster in chess and is helping Adam with his patience and think before he moves. Bradnax and Church aren't even on the right board playing tic tac toe. Tom handled this chump 3 years ago. Church got played and Tom knows when he figures it out he will handle it. Dude is paranoid and coping with drugs from the BS that he has been through. Tom will give Church kindness outta respect for Adam and Church's friendship.

On a side note with Upchurch's actual beef with Tom, I can say people talked shit on Acal for using nigga in "Racism". Even Acal criticized the delivery of the song. That being said there is a difference than belittling a whole race with the soft "a" and the hard "r" than belittling the part of the race that has no self respect or respect within their own race. That is why I can respect Acal's old and new stuff and the man himself. Upchurch uses it to just use it as filler.

There's also the more obvious reference. A redshirt freshman is a term in American college football. This tag is applied to a freshman player who sits out for the majority of the year either because they aren't ready to play or got a season-ending injury early enough in the season. They don't lose that year to eligibility, so can still play for 4 seasons. Basically a message to the target that they aren't ready for gametime and if they want it, they better take a year to study the game and come back once better prepared.
