It was a great movie, in the style of Apocalypse Now.
I can't believe someone would unironically compare Apocalypse Now to Civil War lmao.
It's crazy how many reviewers are trying to gaslight this movie into being good. I feel like some of the charm to this type of movie would have been thinking about what the viewer would have done in a civil war type scenario. But everything is so far down the realm of fantasy in this film, and if you disagree, it just means you don't have a very strong grasp of reality. Which is also fine... enjoy your movie, more power to you.

Yeah absolutely love wagner Moura. In narcos, he is the absolute TRUTH. I know exactly 💯 what u mean, it's like he's always "winking" to the audience, he's one of best actors in the world right now

Yeah, I enjoyed the movie. It was really well done. Everybody nailed their part. One thing I don't really understand, though, and this isn't a criticism of the movie, is how one part of the United States could Wage War on the other with both of them having comparable military forces. Where did the western forces get all their hardware from? Are they people who just broke off from the regular military and took equipment with them? Did states pool their National Guard resources together to make an army? I just don't know how a rebel faction of United States could ever oppose the United States military. Also because the military has people from all over the country in it.
because most ppl ILLUSION, that the military is set on democrats or republicans is just that, an illusion, military would split up, and JUST as a rule of thumb, the older military would chances are go with the conservatives, and younger millennial would go with democrats! But either way in the even if of a CIVIL conflict military would divide.. and depending on how that base floats... would be who takes over that base! if you think military is just SET in stone, your mistaken! younger think they listen to "commander in chief" while the older military realizes they listen to the constitution.. and most younger generation couldn't site the constitution if it stepped on their scrotum with a brand new pair of stiletto's (and relax I believe in the uniparty is what is ruining this country)
The active army is outnumbered 400,000 to 18 MILLION. That's how the insurgents can take on the active military....

We have already been in a "cold war" here for years already. And I think that the gross corruption and incompetence of politicians and the severe divide of this country has already progressed to far to be prevented into a hot war. We already had the Jan 6th riot, only a matter of time before shit hits the fan.

I LOVED the scene where ...... In the middle of a shooting War - the girls stop to try on a dress and do some shopping !!! Yeah ..... a chauvinist would say !
I’m pretty sure that scene was meant to show that even in the midst of war it’s important to remember to do things to make you happy otherwise what are we fighting for. Just because the country is at war that doesn’t mean you have to spend every single minute feeling depressed. Sometimes you just need something that feels familiar and normal.

I just saw it, its not at all. It does paint extremes as being very bad & the rest of it in terms of characters or factions are totally fictional.
