Good memories from Lodgepole; I did a 3½-day hike from there in 2002. I didn't see many of the other spots you include here like the cavern. Thanks for the report!
The cavern is actually in King's Canyon - I originally wanted to check out Crystal Cavern which is inside of Sequoia National Park but it was booked up by the time I was ready to schedule it. Maybe next time!
Rangers were patrolling sites and they never mentioned having two sites worth of people at one site. They were focused on securing food and scented items and preventing fires.
@@yazmingonzalez4275 the nearby river has some flow. So we rinsed off there. But I would call and check if they reopened the showers as other visitor centers had more facilities opened.
I love how you guys prepare the food
It’s one of our favorite parts of camping!

curious, how'd you guys keep all the meat and stuff from spoiling after 3 days?
We bring a cooler. Ice lasted just long enough but there is a store that also sells ice nearby.
Is the other campsites very close or far enough?
The other campsites seem pretty far apart if I recall correctly.
Hi. I'll be going next weekend, and will also have a big group. Were they strict at all if you guys were all hanging out on one campsite?

Also what did you guys do for showering? Sine the showers were closed?
