Hahaha the one time being American has helped me out here! Chips are the same and what they call chips are fries, or frites, so for once the language difference between American English and Queens has helped me out

Dear Alexa, After taking french lessons, I struggled a lot in the beginning to understand the difference between LE fromage, et DU fromage. Today I understand this, and I would like to point out that this can be a struggle when these things do not excist in the language of the student. (dutch, in my case). So I would like to comment on the fact that I see a picture of a pizza, a whole pizza in your video while you say DE LA pizza. My question is : should you not have to say LA pizza with this picture, because it is a whole pizza ? I am a little bit confused. BISOUS ! Derk Zeedijk.

For bread...she said du pain....should it not be du le pain?
Pooja Miglani hello, I'm French, the fact is that in French when it's masculin, you can't say " de le" so you say "du". But when it's féminin you say "de la". ( it's like the equivalent of "some" in English). Pardon my english
