I have watched this landscape quite a number of times from the train, on my way to and from Cornwall. And I really admire the restoration they have done to the wall. Beautiful views. It seems to be a lot of tarmac walking on this stretch, which in my opinion often is more strenuous than walking on the foot paths. But on a quite level stretch, it is not that tiring. And thank you for the low tide tip along the beach and through the tunnel! Lovely to watch. Thank you 🙂 Torunn.

Yes, most of this route is on tarmac/concrete but we managed ok, the rest and drink at the pub helped!

cool filming of the train and bit of history on the rail, Dawlish looks to be one of the larger towns along the way, always a good time to stop for a ice cream and then later refreshments, cheers guys till the next one (late watching away for a long weekend)

I’ve done that train journey countless times. It’s the slowest train journey on earth. Exeter to Truro takes about 3 weeks 😮

Excellent! I appear in your video, filming one of my own videos at 2:19 - I'm the guy in shorts & blue striped shirt, with the phone outstretched - I'm gonna show that bit in one of my videos and link to yours - Ive also subbed so I'll check out your other vids later ! One of my Subscribers led me to your video - He recognised me 👍👍👍

Oh my goodness, that is so funny, it's a small world! Cannot believe two YTers walked past each other oblivious...Absolutely feel free to use that clip for your video, I will look out for it now I've subbed to your channel also! We really enjoyed this stretch of the SWCP, Teignmouth was lovely and we also enjoyed our short time in Dawlish. Realistically we will be back doing the SWCP in early 2025, would be great to meet up properly. Kind regards, Simon

@@unowhotravelchannel Thanks mate - Yes, I'll do it in the next day or so, meaning you will see it a week later - All my videos are exactly a week behind realtime, simply because I film & upload every single day, so need a 'buffer' of time to make sure there's a new vid available every day - If you are down next year, hit me up - I'm always out and about in Teignmouth, every single day - I rarely go further though, due to caring for my elderly mother 👍👍👍

No sticks? How can you defend yourselves from killer sheep? :-)
Getting it done! A bit flat but fun hike. I like the urban ones sometimes

Yes, definitely an unusual section, we enjoyed seeing all the passing trains...
