The metal stairs were different in 1996! The climb has been made easier! A must visit now! Amazing vlog! I travelled back in time! A beautiful country of marvellous people!
Hey bro love the vlog Travelling to Sri Lanka soon and was thinking of buying a drone like this for similar footage Seen lots of opposing information for use of drones in Sri Lanka, how did you find it?
The metal stairs and railing on the top section weren't there when I went (2008) just shallow foot holds carved into the bare rock. It wasn't too bad except for the local unofficial "guides" who were basically just getting in the way trying to make a buck "helping" tourists get up the scetchiest bits. That and the Hornets nests on either side made me more nervous than the height and exposure.
@LeaderOfNoOne we made it was exactly as u said, lots of sweat and totally amazing, have you got any reports on Galle, stayed in North area so missed South bits
Hi It's really nice to see Srilanka after long time.. HUGE recommendation according to my last visit in 2018.. Visit Pigeon Island national park beach in Trincomalee and have a diving session at the virgin beach with it's very own corals and sea creatures. Don't forget to record and upload it here.. Coz it will be the best ❤️
Wenn man den Film ordentlich schneidet, sieht man nicht misslungene Filmausschnitte. Das Museum war im Anfang nicht mit drauf, die Wendeltreppen zu/von den Wolkenmädchen und diese nicht. Das geht viel besser.
M8! Try climbing that in 1998! No metal work! Just wooden steps and a rope 2 hold on 2, no 2 way system, only 1 route up and down, basically climbing over 1 and another! Sketchy!!!! That’s nothing m8!!!!
They should offer a helicopter ride to the top and then you could simply walk down after you see it. I'm convinced that was a superior technology thousands of years ago.🪄🏛️
You went all the way up and didn’t see the paintings? They’re 1500 years old and pretty amazing.
Awesome place, we had been on a family trip to Sigiriya back in 2015! Had a great time | Thanks for refreshing our memories !!

If you could fly up there I would fly back down but it's a great place for an air balloon business early in the morning.
