I've always liked Sanemi. He's my favourite pillar.
I just really noticed..... the neighbor is the realest MVP of the whole series because he basically begged tanjirou to stay the night at his place. If tanjirou didnt stay the night he most likely would have died/ become a demon with nezuko. If that happened, Muzan would have never been defeated, let alone found.

Nezuko managed to survive Muzan’s blood and conquer the sun, if Tanjiro was there he would’ve been the demon king right there and make Muzan piss himself

if tanjiro went up the mountain that night either A muzan woulda seen those earrings and proceeded to make sure the entire kamado family was dead (muzan didn't know about their ability to conquer the sun until nezuko did it) or B he woulda turned tanjiro into a demon as a big FU to yorichi kinda like what AFO did to all might in MHA with shigiraki but if he left them their like in the original story then the water pillar would hae probably come across them and killed them both unless muzan decided to take them with him (probably to further corrupt them for the reason i mentioned earlier and prob torture them 2) and if tanjiro managed to manifest the mark and figure out sun breathing then the demon slaying core would be done for (assuming muzan doesn't use the curse to yeet tanjiro out of fear of tanjiro surpassing and overthrowing him but like nezuko/tamayo hed prob find a way to remove it) since tanjiro/nezuko would conquer the sun and muzan and the other demons would sek them out and once they also gain immunity its GG for the demon slaying core.
My theory is that Yushiro will see the reincarnated demon slayers. He was probably smiling to them

Not only were they thought about when thinking who died in the chapter but also remember they said only 2 of the pillars were left (the wind and water pillars). So yea it's sad but they're dead.

I don't think we're gonna see tanjiro and his accomplises next chapter. The time skip is supposed to be in the modern era which is approximately 100 years down the line. We're probably going to see how the demon Slayer corps legacy has shaped the new world and the mark they've left
100 years would be 2020, since DS takes place in the Taishō era... I would consider the 70s the „modern“ era, or maybe the 90s, after the cold war; with Tanjiro in his mid 80s, since he’s probably born around 1905

Rakaf the Japanese government never acknowledged the Demon Slayer Corp so we may not get much in terms of widely known legacy
Or maybe they all get reincarnated since the manga does say Tanjiro only has a few years left when he decided to not become a demon. I'm thinking the "when we're reincarnated let's get married" doesn't only apply to the snake and love pillar but all of them!

This has definitely been one of my all time favorite anime/manga’s ever. The pure ending mixed with the harsh yet persevering plot brought me to tears many times. All of the characters really had an important role, one that gave them meaning and almost made them seem so real. I’m sad to bring this to a close yet I’m truly happy to have found Demon Slayer 🥰
Tanjiro, Inousuke, Zenitsu and Nezuko all in one house ejoying every moment should be a series alone

Are we gonna overlook the fact that although Muzan is dead and gone, the Blue Spider Lily that made him into a demon is most definitely out there somewhere? Not to mention the Demon Slayers are no longer looking for it?
EDIT: Muzan didn't become a demon because of the disease, but the medicine. The doctor simply promised that the medicine would save his life - not that he would be able to remain a human.
And also the mark. Hopefully next chapter might explain it.I dont wanna plot holes.

Blue spider Lilly is a flower that might have cured Muzan 😑😑 he was getting ill and it was a half developed medicine which turned him into demon
Terminal Illness it only exist in demon slayer world, it is said to be medicine that was given to Muzak to cure him, doctor was still working on it but when muzan’s condition got even worst and he got frustrated and killed the doctor who was working for him, he latter realised that medicine was working but cause it was a prototype Muzak was unable to go in sunlight and always carved for human flesh Muzan also deeply regretting killing doctor. He believed that if medicine was complete he could have walked in sunlight freely.
When the first episode of the anime aired, I was hooked damn near immediately. The manga was a wild ride to say the least, but that's what made it as amazing as it is. I got really excited when you got in on the hype and your reviews of each chapter since then helped me understand what I was reading just a little better. I'm happy to have been on the ride with you and countless others and I can't wait to see what Gotoge comes up with next.

Oh my gosh same, at first I was pretend crying but then I actually lost it, they were such a dysfunctional family but at the end of the day they really did care for each other

I still can’t help but think that the threat of demons in the future is still possible, the blue flower/plant that originally turned Muzan into a demon has never been found (this was the original goal of the 12 Moons right?). Maybe this will be for another manga and another set of characters. I still find it weird that this essential item of the manga was never put to light again. Nontheless one of the most excitable mangas I’ve ever read.

Demon slayer is one of the most heartbreaking and heartwarming anime’s/mangas. Most of the characters we loved and were attached with died. But the remaining characters got a happy ending and were alive.

And about characters dying, demon slayer isn't the only one. But if you love demon slayer then that's your opinion so I wouldn't want to change it.
