Hi there. Can you tell me how did you manage to focus this projector, since it doesn't give you a 100% focused image all over the edges and the center? Do you use some trick or measuring or just eye balling for focusing the image?

Vankyo sells more newer models in USA and old outdated garbage models in Canada. Example V700 or V630W or VF630T or VF620T (Newer models) are sold only in USA and not in Canada. What a partiality service that is Vankyo ???? By this Canadian customers are forced to only buy outdated models. I didnot buy V630 for its very high fan noise. Many had complaints with V630 for its fan noise.
You can be right, vankyo do not have sales in Canada anyways Canadian tend to purchase more bigger names like BenQ and Optima. But in USA they tend to like Vankyo so I would not blame Yankyo on paying more attention to US customers then North American partners.
Wonder how this compares to the leisure 510? I have the 510 and it’s great for movies and some games. But for watching sports is where it lacks and it’s not very good to watch sports. I bought it a couple months before the v600 was released not knowing vankyo was releasing a true 1080 p projector. Is the v600 really worth the upgrade?
Hi. I have this projector. During calibration with AVS HD 709 this projector is not showing the flashing bars in the Black-Clipping test pattern no matter how much i adjust the brightness and contrast. I tried to input through both viz Laptop via HDMI and through USB pen drive . Please help as the shadow details are absolutely nil.
@@xctechs XC techs well. My settings are ... Contrast 45 Brightness 50 Colour 50 Sharpness 20 R 65 G 40 B 100 (RGB settings are from @JoeNTell) So basically ididn't need to do anything. Just connect your laptop and open display settings and in projector display settings (that you access from your laptop) just turn the colour range from full to limited. Full colour range wash out colours and crush the black level.
Alright I admit this model, this brand, the corners are somehow blurry, BUT not forgetting, this particular model v600 have very high refresh rate as compared to 630, also, I did a test, and it did enlarge to over 200 inches, yet still very clear and bright. (of course, with room light switch off. But anyway which theater we go, would switch on the whole cinema's lighting?) on the other hand, I got it from someone for USD 50 bucks that's why I felt I am so lucky hahaha, trust me, I use this to watch 200 over inches TV news, gaming, Hollywood movies and some, you know what, Undisclosed firms.. Hahaha ** shy **
@@snowy2875 if yours is same model, look for some videos on how to clean lenses and try that it can be a dust, or you are not placing the projector properly. and $50 is a 480p quality, this is 1080P look at the video, i have shown close up and if there is any blurry sides you can see it.
My Custom Picture Mode settings: Contrast: 57 Brightness: 56 Colour: 55 Sharpness: 50 hope this helps, but to help you better, when you set up your projector use a video like this title "Projector Brightness Contrast and Color Calibration" that way you know your darks and colours setup correct.
Great Video but one question: I have a little issue with the color red. Some brighter reds are displayed as pink even if it shouldn't. Is that normal or am I the only one? Beside that I am so blown away with this Beamer

Make sure it is stright and not angled then with dial on top and you looking at the screen focus.
Hi i have a 120 inch screen i need to know if 12 feet is far enough for it to fith the 120 inch screen ty
12.5 feet should get you 120" to be accurate.

the V600 have less Latency then 510.

@@xctechs Hi. I figured why it wasnt showing flashing bars. You have to set the colour range to limited on laptop then it will b all good.

Mine don't have any blury corners.
@@xctechs In that case mine should be a slightly faulty set. But over all it's still viewable. Beside, i bought it off at 50 odd USD hehehe

Can you set up surround sound with this projector?
using a Headphone jack you can setup the rest on your stereo system, or using HDMI you can get proper sound.
