The NZ rose is "Aotearoa" pronounced "A-O- tear-a-row-a" and is a 'massive' rose with sunset colours. Very scented and beautiful. I've had one for over 12 years. It's getting a bit old now, so I'm going to propagate from it. Needs dead heading. It does get black spot but it doesn't seem to affect the blooms. Looking good, Jo😊
Hi Amber, could you let me know the name of that rose farm please.🌹 The roses look like they are more than 3 years old unlike the 1 and 2 year olds most places sell. Still waiting for mine to arrive and hopefully they'll come before our trip to see our daughter in Cairns. Can't wait to see your garden in bloom and need to get stuck into mine. The winds have been really bad the past few days but at least there was no power outage. Our entire property has turned into a swap as it does this time of the year but hey, that's what we get for building a house in a paddock 😂 Look forward to seeing the dried arrangements and your bouquets. 💐🎀💐
I’m looking forward to the better weather too. The farm is near Maffra, although she’s not about much now. She may still have some roses left. It is called Dennison Green. Look her up on Instagram and message Kara through there.
The dark burgundy decorative dahlia is called "natal"....i think.
Its really deep burgundy and flowers profusely.
Is a good one for keeping.😊
Hi Amber, I’m loving your plans for more dried flowers, and those dried dahlias are so beautiful!
Thanks Sharon!
I love the vintage look of dried Dahlias. Everything super late this year. Am just getting my first blooms on Dahlias this week
I saw that Georgie from Common Farm Flowers was only just getting dahlias too. Hope you get lots of flowers for the remainder of your season.

Perfect. Thanks Jo. So glad to see how it’s pronounced!! Looking forward to seeing it bloom 😊
Could be blackbirds digging in the mulch, they dig little holes in mine😂
Thanks for the video and sharing your garden😊
Oh maybe! Except for the kid size footprints 😂
Hi Amber on the hill 😂. I can’t believe it is almost the end of July 😮. I hope you get your space 🤞 and things go well. Have a super week, Ali 🌤️🇨🇦
Hi Ali, yes isn’t the year going quickly…again!! Definitely fingers crossed on the shop. Have a great week too!
